Our 3 Bedroom 2 Bath house with a sleeping porch is perfect for friends and family groups that want to experience a tranquil natural environment, yet also be close enough to Madison to enjoy the city. You'll enjoy high end beds, linens and FREE WiFi (high speed).
1 hour to Milwaukee or Wisconsin Dells and 2 hours to Chicago. Located in Middleton (53562) with quick access to 12/18 (Beltline) and I-94. Built in the 80's this home is sunny and spacious. Large living room and dining room that featues a beautiful gas fireplaces Save money and eat healthy using the large kitchen with top of the line appliances.

First the good: this house is easy for the average walker/healthy person. Clean. Lots of space inside and out. Beautiful country views and a working farm! This place is charming and served the perfect backdrop for my grandson’s birthday party. (12 people only!!)Here’s the kicker…I am disabled and use a walker. Another party member was (previously) in a wheelchair. We chose this property for its “wheelchair accessible”!listing, as well as proximity to activities and family. The house was wide enough for my walker but was very disappointed to see 3 steps at every entrance. No ramp. each doorway to the outside also had a huge lip for me to get over. This would never have worked for a wheelchair and barely worked for me. My husband was with me and was able to lift my walker for me and help me up the steps. It was either that or find a hotel. We made do. Again. Charming property, lovely hosts, but nowhere near accessible.

The rental was the perfect size for our family and friends meet up - with 3 bedrooms and nice communal space - living room, 3 seasons room, and dining room. The view from the house is idyllic.The kitchen had enough pots, pans, baking dishes and dishes to enjoy a few meals in - we also used the grill - charcoal was provided. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well in spite of unusually high temps. We were close enough to Madison and the Dells to get some touring in. Joan was a kind and accommodating host.

Charming and comfortable house! Joan, the host is available down the road but not intrusive. Plenty of shopping and restaurants 10 minutes away, but you are on a small farm with a country feel. Dogs loved the huge yard and the mowed walking path through the prairie.

The property was so clean. Beds were comfortable. Cute house with lots of space, but the star was the view in the background. Beautiful, quiet and peaceful.
