Absolutely beautiful, clean cottage! It was a perfect getaway for me and my husband. Our 2 night stay wasn't long enough! We loved how close the beach was, and how we could see the water from the bonfire pit and the house. You get to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sunset and stargazing on the beach on the clear nights. It's amazing how many stars you can see. We didn't get to see any freighters the few days we were there, but on the last foggy morning we could hear the fog horns blow as they went by. We will definitely be returning with our family! One thing to note, the shower downstairs is very slippery. I had to be a little cautious while showering and being 28 weeks pregnant, but that was just a very minor thing - everything else was perfect!

The house was the perfect size for our family since we travel with our elderly Mother. It was convenient to have 2 main floor bedrooms and a bathroom. The house was very clean, decorated nicely and was a comfortable fit for us. It provided everything we needed (kitchen & bathroom supplies, pans, spices, washer/dryer etc). The beach access is very close and the view is amazing. We enjoyed watching the freighters passing by and local wildlife. We had to contact VRBO for a quick fix on a Sunday and were very appreciative for the immediate response and service they provided. I highly recommend this rental as its close enough to town to make a quick trip if you need something, or plan a day trip to sight see, yet far enough away to feel secluded in a very quiet neighborhood. We look forward to booking again at this location.

We had a wonderful time! A great little house sitting right on Lake Huron. Clean, well stocked, great location to so many things to see and do but just relaxing on the beach watching freighters floating by was AWESOME! You can even see the Mackinaw bridge! Location, location, location. It was everything we needed and wanted for our vacation and more. We would DEFINITELY stay here again.

The property was beautiful. Location was amazing. However, our first evening we were sitting out by the fire and the neighbor came over to tell us the house is in a home association and quiet time was 10:00. We were never told the home was in an association and there was a “quiet time”. We are all adults and weren’t being loud by any means … just enjoying the evening fire after our long trip to get there. We thought that was all a little odd. The next day, we all took a trip to the island and when we came back there was a bunch of sticks etc in our fire pit that we didn’t leave. I messaged the office and they were going to see if the owner had been there. We were all a little concerned someone had been in our house. I messaged the office 2xs about this with no response. I called on the day we left and she said the owner wasn’t there and it was probably the neighbor cleaning up the yard. I then asked about the home association and quiet time we were told about by the neighbor. Management said they were not aware of any of that. So I’m not really sure what happened, but it all seemed a little shady. Regardless, we did enjoy our time and the amazing views and the private-ish beach area!
