The Palazzo del Capitano is a large apartment located in Colle di Val d'Elsa, a characteristic town in the Chianti hills in Tuscany.
The house is on the top floor of a historic building from the late 1500s, built on a pre-existing medieval tower by Emilio Luci, one of the officials of the Medici family and the Grand Duche of Tuscany.
The apartment, finely furnished and equipped with every comfort, offers its guests 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large living room and an equipped kitchen.
The peculiarity of the Palazzo del Capitano is certainly in its exclusive location: you will have the opportunity to stay in the historic center of one of the most beautiful Villages in Italy, within walking distance of all amenities (Bars, Restaurants, Supermarkets, etc.) and close to the area's most renowned Art cities, including San Gimignano, Siena, Florence and Volterra.
The entrance to the apartment is accessible by climbing 51 steps from the street level. The parking (free) is located under the city walls and about 250 meters from the building. When registering with the owners, access to the historic center is authorized by car to facilitate the unloading of luggage.

Very nice stay in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The property is in the old town section at the top of the hill, which is very quiet. Arrival well organised with Francesca. Make sure to park in the correct car park, not the one next to it which is residents only.
