Hygge Hill sits tucked at the end of a classic Hochatown gravel road, surrounded by 2.25 acres of hardwoods. Unlike most cabins in Broken Bow, you're not stacked next to neighbors. You have real room to breathe — and real quiet to actually use it.
✨ The Feel
Vaulted ceilings, 6-foot iron doors, and wall-to-wall windows pull the forest inside. The design is minimal and considered — every texture, finish, and detail chosen to make the noise of your real life feel very far away. Guests call it spa-like. They call it the best sleep they've had in months. They call it exactly what they needed.
We've thought of everything so you don't have to think about anything. The kitchen is stocked. The hot tub is clean and ready. You just have to show up.
🛌 Two Private Master Suites
Both bedrooms are identical — king beds, smart TVs, and full en suite bathrooms with soaking tubs, walk-in rain showers, and floating vanities. No one gets the lesser room. Bring another couple, bring your kids, bring your best friends — everyone sleeps like royalty.
🍳 A Kitchen Worth Cooking In
High-end stainless appliances, custom black granite countertops, quality cookware, and enough counter space to actually spread out. There's a large island for charcuterie and wine, and a dining table for four. Whether you cook every night or just make coffee in the morning, it's all there.
🌲 Outside Is Where It Happens
The covered back deck is the heart of Hygge Hill. Hot tub, outdoor TV, dining table, and a grill — all wrapped in trees with enough distance from the world that it feels like yours alone. The front porch is for morning coffee and the kind of quiet that's hard to find at home. The fire pit, hammocks, and swings are out back for the evenings that end with s'mores and stars.
We've watched guests arrive planning to explore every restaurant in Hochatown. Many never leave.
🚙 Getting Here
About 4.5 miles off Highway 259 on a classic Hochatown gravel road. Yes, it's a gravel road — that's how you know you're actually away from it all. An SUV, truck, or regular car make it just fine. The extra minutes are worth it.
🍷 If You Do Venture Out
Hochatown and Broken Bow have everything: breweries, wineries, restaurants, hiking at Beavers Bend and Hochatown State Park, kayaking, zip-lining, horseback riding, and more. You're secluded but never stranded.
We're Chris and Crystal. We take care of this place like it's our home — because it is. We check in just enough to make sure everything's right, and stay out of the way the rest of the time. If anything comes up, we're responsive. If nothing comes up, that's the goal.

I applaud Hygge Hill for keeping the Broken Bow vibe to their cabin, unlike some recent additions! We have been coming for seven years now and this was top three for us.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were outstanding as far as comfort, cleanliness, and relaxation. This is not the shove everything in make it cozy type of stay, it is more like a spa with the minimum, which is perfect for unwinding! Simplicity at its finest.
The most responsive and pleasant hosts we have honestly ever had, and with that alone, I highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Amazing spa like cabin! In person you can see that you have two neighbors, but both are behind trees so it is still very private.The back patio deck is SO cozy. The hot tub was clean and the cover was easy to remove and put back on. We loved watching the sun set through the trees.The two bedrooms are basically both masters, identical furnishings and both very comfortable. The bathrooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. The whole cabin is very well stocked, tidy, and clean. The only thing we wished the kitchen had was pot holders. Otherwise it has everything you need, and they have a nice assortment of spices as well.The dirt roads leading up to this area (not the owner’s fault) are a little treacherous especially post-rain, but my little Civic still made it up the steep hills!There is a very detailed manual and instructions everywhere, and things are clearly labeled, so it was very easy to figure out how to use everything thanks to the meticulously organized owners of Hygge Hill. We would definitely come back!!

The entire property was clean and inviting. Very well appointed. Big showers, nice linens and comfy beds. The decor was lovely and the same matching theme throughout the entire home. The kitchen has all you need for cooking meals and the dishes, glasses and pans are top quality. Very nice deck around the back of the house and all windows have a view of the woods. I highly recommend this property and we will be back.

Beautiful cabin! It was light and bright, cozy, and clean. There were plenty of different areas to relax in. We loved the hammocks and swings! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Hosts were responsive. Hope to stay again!
