About this house rental
"Markermeerlogies am See 'in Bovenkarspel, the Netherlands, was completely renovated in 2015. The house is historical and very exclusive, like the traditional buildings in the Zuiderzeemuseum in Enkhuizen and the Zaanse Schans.
The wooden construction creates a cozy atmosphere in the different rooms. In the whole house, earlier times are noticeable and visible through the old wooden beams that date from the year 1500. Nevertheless, it is a comfortable, modern, luxurious holiday home, with a warm design, for 4 people and enough space for your privacy.
The apartment is very pleasant, spacious and contemporary, with underfloor heating and all the comforts for a wonderful holiday all year round. If desired, a third room can be rented.
You rent the lower floor of the house (130m2). The upper floor (110m2) is not inhabited. If desired, you can rent a third bedroom. You can use the fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals.
Internet and Wifi are installed and free.
The private parking lot offers space for 2 cars.
The garden with terrace borders on the ditch where you can go fishing. Here too there is enough space for reading, playing games or sunbathing with a cooling drink. In the garden (200m2) is a historical water cellar, year 1750.
The direct area is ideal for cycling, hiking and water sports.
The Markermeer is just a stone's throw away. There are several smaller beaches nearby. Everywhere the beach only falls gently into the water and is therefore also suitable for smaller children. In a holiday park next door, the little children can have fun in the children's pool and for the larger there is an outdoor pool in the Markermeer and everyone can enjoy the terrace by the lake.

We and our two little girls had a beautiful stay at this lovely ancient house which is nonetheless modern and full of light on the inside. The owner is a lovely lady always offering a helping hand. We felt totally welcomed. Bovenkarpsel and Enkhuizen are really nice and located centrally within the Netherlands allowing a multitude of daytrips in all directions. We can fully recommend renting this house for holidays.

Our family spent several days in this nice modern and very stylish furnished house.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful!
The house is spacious for 2 families on the ground floor and another family on the second floor (which we didn’t use this time).
The house is located directly at the inner see Marketsee. It is directly behind the dam in front of the house.
The road over the dam is not loaded at all and doesn’t pose any disturbance and is a picturesque bycicle or runners route.
The location in a hollow protects very well from the wind. There is nice garden furniture around the house, great place to grill and even a small river passing by the backyard.
Enkhuizen is a great tourist attraction town. Very nice to stroll around with great Holland architecture, historical wander routes cafes at the water edge and so on. Great place to spend quality time. The historical town center is 4 km away, a walking distance actually and even quicker by bicycle or by car (didn’t notice problems with parking in the town).
The accommodation is really higher level than a usual holiday house. Inner equipment is comparable with high level hotels but with a modern very well completed kitchen.
If you wish to stay in high comfort at the sea front and spend time in picturesque historical Holland, we can only recommend this location!
