The space
Situated in the heart of historic Monteagle, Tennessee, this modern ranch house is minutes away from all the activities in town. Whether you are visiting a student at The University of the South, or wanting to host a weekend getaway, this house can do it all. Armed with a spacious entertainment area, a large kitchen, two huge porches, and plenty of yard space, this house is perfect for any and all guests!
This 4 bedroom house can accommodate up to 16 people with the amount of available beds and bathrooms. The master bedroom contains 2 queen beds, bedroom 2 has 1 queen bed and 1 double bed, bedroom 3 has 1 queen bed and 1 double bed, and bedroom 4 has 2 double beds. There are also 2 full bathrooms situated on either side of the house.
Monteagle is a perfect getaway town situated in a picturesque setting. Stepping right outside the front door lands you at the beginning of the largest trail in town, The Mountain Goat Trail. Finish up your hike right across the street at the historic High Point Restaurant. Whether you want to dine in for some fabulous food or take in the scenic trails, this house has it all!

Important Note: Ladybugs are very common in our region. Certain times a year we do experience some ladybugs inside of homes. Please know that all lady bugs are removed by housekeepers during the cleaning process, but are likely to be back quite quickly in large quantities.

Great size space for our group. Good amount of parking. If you need to reach the host, use the app and not the email address stated in the check in emails. I had a couple issues I needed to reach them about and couldn’t get through until I messaged through the app. Then got an immediate reply but it was too late to address the issues and we had already checked out. We would def stay here again.

This property was exactly as advertised in the pictures and more than suited the needs that we had for renting it. Kitchen was very spacious. We did have a couple problems that were not resolved, one that wasn't even acknowledged. There are LOTS of trip hazards going from room to room, especially dining room to living room. We put a chair in the way to remind my elderly parents of the step. There were LOTS of outlets that did not work all over the house, especially in the kitchen. This made keeping our Thanksgiving dishes warm in crock pots and on hot plates pretty difficult...we had to have things sitting on the floor near the working outlets. We messaged the hosts to see if we were missing something or if we could check an breaker panel..... messaged wasn't even looked at before we left 3 days later.... even though they say messaged are responded to 8am-8pm.Also the living room TV is a Prime TV that is signed into an Amazon Prime account. We couldn't log out or change anything because it required a PIN code. Hosts said they didn't have a code and told us to just sign out.... didn't reply when we repeated that was the problem. Just an fyi, the bedroom with 1 window runs much warmer than the rest of the house so put your cold natured people in that room. Overall we liked the place and enjoyed our stay, but would keep looking before settling on this place for a 2nd stay.
