About this bed and breakfast

Peggy’s Cottage is a comfortable place to hang your hat. The one-bedroom and one bath cottage is completely restored. It is bright, fresh, and cozy with an expansive set of windows. Wisteria and English Ivy grow abundantly around the cottage.

With contactless check-in and parking a few feet from the front door, in and out is quick and easy.

The covered front porch with two adirondacks, a fan, and a small grill make relaxing easy and fun. The cottage is on a Lake Hamilton peninsula with a lake view from the front porch. A walk in the neighborhood will take you past one of the largest estates on Lake Hamilton and Knollwood Heights, which is the former Raymond Clinton property, uncle to Bill, who spent his summers on the lake.

Lakeside dining and Kayak rentals are within a mile, Oaklawn Racing Resort, and Casino 3 miles, and historic downtown 4 miles.

We came down from Park City, KS for a weekend getaway. We went to the Crater of Diamonds, Bubba Brews, Bathhouse Brewery, Egg Muffins, Hot Springs Bath House Row, and the Tower! Oh yeah, we also went to the Wax Museum. Yes we are the ‘old people” who like weird stuff like that. We enjoyed Peggy’s Cottage. Definitely hit it up again if we come back!

The name Peggy’s cozy cottage fits this VRBO to a tee. Very clean and comfortable. Desk available to comfortably use your computer. Plenty of space to relax. We only stayed overnight so did not get to take advantage of the front porch, hammock or grilling area. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Cozy Peggy's Cottage is a true delight. The cottage offers all the amenities one would need for a short time stay visiting Hot Springs, AR. The bed slept wonderfully. We eat out all the time, so have no information on cooking. Did have some trouble receiving good communications with Vrbo. After talking with the property owner, he straightened ever thing out and our stay was very relaxing.

The little cottage is just adorable and honestly it’s bigger than it looks from the outside , very clean and a great area of town, nice houses all around , you can see the lake from the front or back or cottage , we had to problem getting to downtown , super easy to get to and from !!

The house was great , clean , in a nice neighborhood, quiet except for the 4th of July fireworks which we expected, Lol , close to downtown and several disc golf courses that we went to play, we’re looking forward to going back when it’s cooler

GREAT things about Peggy's Cottage-Clean shower with good water pressure. Kitchen and living areas were clean! Appreciated the washer and dryer greatly! Nice outdoor space with a table, hammock, and a small charcoal grill. Kitchen has no stove but has everything needed for a meal, including an electric burner, grill, microwave, and pizza oven! It has a big fridge! Good location! About 7 min. to restaurants, Walmart, Oaklawn, etc. Very comfortable bed and clean, comfy sheets! Lots of extra blankets and a cot! Enjoyed using the Ruku on TVs. Super nice and cute little place to stay! We will return again when we make it back to Hot Springs. However, here are a few things that need attention - Tall lamp in the bedroom needs new bulbs, and the tv remote in the bedroom needs batteries! Bedroom and bathroom could use a good deep clean on windows, window treatments, corners, and baseboards. It had cobwebs in many areas. Baseboards need vacuumed and cleaned in bedroom as well as shampoo the carpets. Bathroom rug and comforter had stains but were clean to use. Clock in the living room needs batteries changed. I recommend having a couple more big towels. Toilet paper was not good! Bring your own if you prefer good toilet paper! Overall, we were pleased with our stay. I'm a clean freak and very picky about where I stay so that's saying something! There's a few small easy fixes and a little deep cleaning in a few areas, and it'll be 10/10. We arrived before sunset. The door has a cypher lock and I opened it on the first try. The house was immaculate! The living room furniture was very comfortable. The bed, queen size, wasn't too firm and not too soft, just right. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and dishes and silverware. I will award Cozy Peggy's Cottage a 10.0/10. Thank you for a wonderful three days!!

We enjoyed our stay at this cute property. We really just needed a place to sleep so not having a stove, oven, and dishwasher were not necessary. Only complaint would be that there was no outside light. Perhaps just a bulb needed to be changed. Thanks again.

We enjoyed it. Alan came right over to solve a problem we had with the TV. We did not realize that the kitchen did not have a stove. We had to go out to eat instead of cooking our meal. We loved the cottage
