Spend sunny mornings relaxing with a cup of coffee before heading downtown or out to the nearby beaches. In the afternoons, watch for wildlife passing through the trees or settle in on the deck for a quiet evening under the stars.
"My goodness, what a gorgeous little oasis in the trees! I love this place so much. It’s got anything and everything you could possibly need; it’s so clear how much thought and care was put into it. It’s private and spacious and surrounded by the most beautiful trees. The birds, squirrels, deer and wild turkeys all right there on the property were such a treat, and the sunsets and sunrises were absolutely stunning as well. HOUSE RULES
Guests are required to sign our Rental Agreement per the NC Vacation Rental Act within 3 days of booking or 24 hours before arrival, whichever is earliest. Guests are required to provide a photo ID upon request.
Security deposit required - $300 hold to be authorized on guest’s credit card by host 2 days prior to arrival and released within 5 days of departure if no issues.
Refunds will not be offered for any reason outside of the cancellation window. Please purchase trip insurance to protect your trip.
Not safe or suitable for infants or children. NO pets - our family dog is not always compatible with other pets.
NO parties or events of any kind. STRICT maximum of 2 guests.
Smoking is not permitted inside the listing. "Smoking" includes the use of tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, etc.
Parking for up to 2 standard vehicles is available off the circle next to the sign "Tree Escape Parking". Trucks and trailers come and go regularly from our home so please leave the main driveway and circle clear. You may park at the bottom of the stairs for temporarily while unloading or loading your vehicle.
The main home on the property, fenced in back yard, front yard, garage and storage area behind the garage are all part of our private residence and are not accessible to guests.
Quiet hours of 10pm to 8am are strictly enforced.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean. Very well stocked kitchen. Comfy bed. I really loved the unique touch with the drawings by a local artist. Below were QR codes to give you directions to the local restaurant or attraction.

The "Tree Escape" is very cute, comfortable and convenient. Much thought has been put into meeting all of renters' basic needs. Instructions and communication were clear. Highly recommend staying at the "Tree Escape" when in Southport area.
