About this villa rental

House with a magnificent view over Lake Trasimeno, situated in a very quiet environment, surrounded with a big garden and forest land next to a natioanl parc. The house has several leisure places, a covered terrace, a swimming pool with large wooden deck, and a panoramique terrace, the garden has 12 different fruit trees, olives and grapes. The swimming pool is 10meter by 5meter and is 1meter deep everywhere. The swimming pool is surrounded by a large wooden deck. Important is that the house and the swimming pool are private and you are the only renters.

We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the house and surroundings to the fullest. The view of the lake is breathtaking.We had very good communication with the owner and bought some of his very good wines.

Beautiful location, very handy for the lake (swimming, pedelos etc) and with some lovely restaurants and gelatos in the local town! Views from the property are amazing, it is very quiet and peaceful

The property is situated up the hill with a breathtaking view of the Lake. Its set amongst trees and vines. The house is traditional and homely. There is air conditioning, though we were there in a heatwave and it struggled a bit to cool the entire house. Great pool, which was a lot larger than we anticipated, again with spectacular views. Communication with the owner to answer any queries we had was excellent - very responsive. We would happily recommend this property.

When the gates to the house opens, and you experience the view first hand for the first time you realise that the pictures didn’t do it justice. - at all. The host where very nice, helpful and fore coming. Very short answer time and things just gets done. Very helpful in general and gives great tips on restaurants, cantinas, things to se and much more. The bonus is finding out that Johan’s actually makes pretty good wine. If you visit, do yourself the favour of experience it, either by talking to him or visit the cantina that has his wine. We’re not by any means done with the area, and when we come back we’ll stay there again - if the place’s not booked.

Lovely property in a fantastic location far from the Madding Crowd, not that we found a crowd anywhere we visited. The only problem we encountered was the aggressive mosquitoes which stopped us using the pool. Other than that it was a great week away.

It was wonderful to have breakfast or dinner on one of the terraces, surrounded by wine grapes and beautiful flowers, with a marvellous view on Lake Trasimeno and with a nice, large pool for a cool swim. The house is very well maintained and well equipped to host up to 9 persons, with airco on the first floor. The owner is very friendly and easily reachable in case of questions. The location is ideal as a base to make some visits to the beautiful cities in the area Umbria and Toscana: Assisi, Florence, Perugia, . . . and to some famous wine villages where only the names gets you already the ‘wine’ in the mouth. You can also go to the lake for some water fun activities. In short: we had a very nice stay with our 2 children and will certainly come back.

This place, where the perfect spot, for our family vacation. Every morning where spent with a cup of coffee watching the magneficent view. We would definitely come back here. Johan is the perfect host, very polite and always easy to come in contact with. All in all the house is perfect, the pool is perfect, everything is perfect with a view like that. We can only recommend casa viva la vista and Johan.

Our experience with the owner was great. The house is very comfortable, cozy, and relaxing. But the view- Amazing! We ate almost all our meals on the patio to enjoy the view. We traveled every day to different towns around Tuscany, as well as Florence. The location is excellent for day trips, since it is close to the main highway. Our only regret - we only stayed a week. We are already planning to return to Casa Viva la Vista.
