Welcome to Casa de Wilson, a luxurious 4-bedroom beachfront villa with a spacious pool and an attached 1-bedroom apartment with a cozy loft, located in the serene and picturesque Maya Beach, Placencia. This stunning villa, offering the perfect blend of modern design and tropical charm, is your ultimate getaway for a relaxing and unforgettable beach vacation.
Step inside Casa de Wilson and be greeted by soaring ceilings with exposed beams, creating an open and airy ambiance that perfectly complements the beachfront setting. The modern design is evident throughout the villa, with high-end finishes, sleek furnishings, and tasteful decor that exudes elegance and comfort. The villa boasts four beautifully appointed bedrooms, two of which feature ensuite bathrooms for added privacy and convenience. Bedrooms three and four share a well-appointed bathroom, making it easy for families to stay together while still enjoying ample space. The attached 1-bedroom apartment is a retreat of its own, offering a fifth bedroom and a loft area with four single beds and it's own bathroom—perfect for kids or extra guests.
The outdoor space is nothing short of spectacular. The centerpiece is the large, inviting pool, where you can cool off while enjoying the stunning ocean views. Enjoying lounging by the pool or on the beach, or take the provided kayaks out to explore the Caribbean sea.
Casa de Wilson is located in the tranquil community of Maya Beach, a great area that provides for a very private beach setting, yet it is close to fine dining, upscale resorts and other activities accessible with the included golf cart.
Our full-time concierge will assist you in planning every detail of your trip from arranging transportation from/to the Belize City Airport, booking tours and activities, golf cart rental as well spa services and chef services at the property.

**ABOUT PLACENCIA**
Placencia, located in Southern Belize, is the second most popular tourist destination in the country. It is situated on a 16-mile-long peninsula that is surrounded by a lagoon on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. It is much smaller, less congested and more laid back than Ambergris Caye/San Pedro. Being inland, Placencia provides easy access to many activities on the mainland like Mayan Ruins, waterfalls, ziplining and cave tubing to name a few. Placencia offers numerous restaurants, small shops, bars and the famous Placencia Sidewalk. It is the perfect place for an amazing Caribbean vacation!
**GETTING FROM THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO THE PROPERTY**
All international flights into and out of Belize are serviced through the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), located northwest of Belize City. Your concierge will assist with the first options to arrange domestic transportation from BZE to Placencia:
- Travel by plane on a local commuter flight from the airport (BZE) to the Placencia Airstrip (PLJ). Flight time is approximately 30 minutes. Once in Placencia, our staff will pick you up and take you to the villa. Our concierge will work with you to book the local flights as soon as you have your international flights ready.
- Travel by private shuttle van from BZE, where the driver will meet you outside of baggage claim. The drive time is approximately 2 hours. You’ll be taken directly to the villa. Our concierge will work with you to book the shuttle van as soon as you have your international flights ready.
- Option 3 is to rent a vehicle at BZE and make the drive down to the condo yourself. There are numerous rental car agencies right across the parking lot from baggage claim including Hertz Avis and Crystal Car Rental a larger local car rental company. You would just need to go online to book and secure a vehicle prior to arrival.
**THINGS TO DO**
Concierge service is included with your rental to assist with arranging activities for your group including spa services, excursions and various types of entertainment right at the villa. Our concierge will assist in planning and booking your activities to enable you to get the most out of your trip.

Our family of 10 adults, a 5 yr old and baby stayed a week at the Casa de Wilson. Was such a wonderful week. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. The staff made the week extra special with how well they took care of us. Linda the housekeeper and Julia the cook were amazing. Elver was there for anything we needed outside or maintanance wise. I would highly recommend having Julia cook for you. All of our meals were so good and she adjusted to any schedule or requests we had. The outside area was so roomy and had an incredible view. The pier was great for morning coffee sunrise viewing and stingray spottings every morning. The drive to town was an easy 15 min drive and we had a couple of great dinners at Omars. Definitely would recommend and hope to return again.

What an amazing time we had in June renting Casa de Wilson through gecko vacations! From the very beginning Erica in the office worked with me on details to make this a special trip to celebrate my husband 60th. She was always patient and always willing to handle details With professionalism and her inside knowledge of Belize. Once we arrived to the house, our staff of Elver, Victoria, and Brittney ( chef extraordinaire!) Took care of us and treated us like family. Perhaps the Best example of amazing hospitality was the night we hired a DJ ( thank you Erica) and celebrated my husbands 60th. They were there early to make the pool area spotless, prepare favorite foods and do amazing decorations, including a balloon arch! By the end of the night they even celebrated with us after much coaxing to join the pool party. We of course, thanked them with a tip and it is my hope that they will stay in touch in case we get a chance to return. They truly felt like family by the end of the 10 days. I have told all my friends about our experience and the professionalism of gecko vacations.

This house was amazing! It was way beyond our expectations. The size, pool, beach, and location were all perfect. We had a group of 15 adults and kids and it had everything we needed. The staff was awesome, especially Chef Julia. We ended up getting her for 2 extra days. I would 100% recommend this house if you’re looking for somewhere to stay with a large group, you don’t even need to leave.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was just amazing. The villa was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for a week vacation. Both the chef and the housekeeper were exceptional. The pool was stocked with floats and cleaned periodically during our visit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone
