Welcome to Black Bear, an AvantStay home!
This home truly has everything you need for an unforgettable getaway. With a spacious living room, gas fireplace, an open concept kitchen with high-end appliances, a breakfast bar, and a dining table for large gatherings, this property provides all the comforts of home in a unique setting. Upstairs you’ll find bright and comfortable bedrooms and a fun game room with billiards, shuffleboard, and a 70-inch screen television. Stairs lead to an open loft with a workspace ideal for those working from home. Outside, a large hot tub overlooking the pines invites you to spend your evenings unwinding under the stars. The deck also features lounge chairs and a dining area with a gas grill and outdoor heater. Enjoy!

Tahoe Donner features a small market/deli, a restaurant (The Lodge), and Recreation Center. The Recreation Center offers a fitness center, hot tubs, a heated pool, and saunas.

- Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short term rental regulations.
- Please note that during the winter months, all outdoor furniture, including the grills, will be unavailable.
- This home does not have AC.
- Max occupancy for this home is 8.
- Please note there are only 2 black sofa seats in the game room.
- Please note that there is a FEE to access the Tahoe Donner amenities and areas.
- Please note that all Tahoe Donner short-term rental homes are subject to amenity blackout dates beginning January 1, 2026. During these blackout periods, short-term tenants will not have access to private Tahoe Donner amenities, including the recreation centers.
Parking Details:
- A maximum of 6 cars can park onsite.
- No street parking allowed.
- Violations result in fines of $1,000 and up, and revocation of the permit after three or more violations.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
