About this villa rental
We are a Belize GOLD STANDARD CERTIFIED HOTEL (AUG 7, 2020) We have arranged Plantacion De Suenos so that it can be rented as 6 bedroom, 7 bedroom and 8 bedroom version. This listing is for the 6 BEDROOM VERSION.
Our 6 bedroom private villa with a 175 feet of private beach located right on the Caribbean Ocean that will sleep 18. We are close enough to town (3.6 miles/15 min Golf Cart Ride) to enjoy all the amenities and best we are far enough away to enjoy the quiet relaxation of pure Caribbean Living. We have 6 spacious bedrooms all with private areas for relaxing. The two downstairs king bedroom have private outdoor showers and sitting areas. Three king bedrooms upstairs including the shark room have outdoor decks. In addition to our spacious bedrooms the house has a two large living areas: Downstairs the Kitchen, Living Room and Dining Room are open floor planned and air conditioned. The Penthouse Honeymoon Suite has a separate private living room.
Located right on the caribbean ocean, this house is just a few steps from a gorgeous stretch of 175 foot of private beach and close to San Pedro, where you can find restaurants, shops, equipment rentals, and much more. Whether you're here to relax on the perfectly soft, sandy beach or take a guided tour around Belize (this country boasts Mayan ruins, amazing wildlife preserves, rivers, caves, and much more) and explore the terrain, you can find all sorts of activities to suit your tastes here.
While you're here, you will enjoy all sorts of modern amenities, including WiFi access, cable TV, air conditioning in every bedroom and in the living area. All in all, with six bedrooms boasting 5 kings 1 queen, 1 bunk bed and 2 sleeper sofas.
Best of all, there's a private pool just for you! Enjoy a dip in the refreshing water, use the stainless propane grill to cook up some lunch, or sit at the shaded table and chat with your family or friends.

Weddings Events and Special Celebrations:
Introducing Villa Mandevilla's exclusive new rooftop event/bar/celebration area! Paired with our great wedding ceremony beach is a romantic rooftop dinner setting, bar area, bathroom and catering kitchen, perfect for your celebration. We are able to accommodate large events up to 110 persons as seen in the photos. But any celebration large or small is welcome. We have tables, chairs linens, arbor and other decorations available to rent for an additional fee. Events of up to 110 can be catered right on the roof out of our catering kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove prep area and sink. The wet bar is large enough to accommodate up to 4 bartenders. The bathroom on the roof is also designed to handle large events. Two stairways to the roof allow easy access for large groups. We believe this is the best event venue in San Pedro Ambergris Caye. We can point you in the right direction for photographers, videographers, DJ's, cakes, flowers, officiants or anything else you might need to make you special celebration perfect.
THE ENTIRE LUXURY VILLA is rented (6 Bedrooms, 6 Baths, 1 large living area downstairs and a private living area in the owners suite, an inviting Game Room/Bar area on the second floor and a Kitchen wall/bar that opens up to the pool area.)
The Villa can sleep up to 18 with 6 bedrooms, 6 baths.
We have a 1-1/2' thick solid hand made chechem/zerocote dining table in the first floor grand dining area that will accommodate your entire dinner party or a large wedding party. Or have the table set on the roof and have your wedding reception on the roof. We welcome families, couples, singles, children of all ages and of course wedding parties.
SLEEPING AT THE HOUSE
We do not charge additional per person, and the house has beds for maximum 18 if you sleep 2 on each of 2 sofa beds, which are located in the common living room areas of the main villa. Here is how the sleeping arrangements break out:
The main floor has three (2) bedrooms
Main 1) Master: king bed (sleeps 2) ) Private Bath + Indoor Shower + Outdoor shower + private outdoor area with small table+ outdoor deck with lagoon views

We have a full time House Manager that can help you with anything you like from concierge service to arranging tours. We also have a full time cook for an extra fee. Please inquire.
We are in one of the nicest neighborhoods on Ambergris Caye, situated directly on the ocean and among other private homes and lots. The villa is under protection of the South Ambergris Caye Neighborhood Watch. This provides our guests with extra private security patrols.

The house is lovely, and host and property manager and other staff are extremely helpful. Was very impressed that Jorge came by the evening we checked in to try to fix an air conditioning unit that was not working in one room. He tried, but ended up having to get it replaced — the very next day (a Sunday!) Nonetheless it was impressive he got there so fast on a Saturday night! Cora responded to our every question and request. She facilitated our arrival/departure and rental of golf carts, made dinner reservations at Elvi’s, arranged snorkeling trip, provided guidance on shopping, and checked in with us during our stay to make sure all was well. I will say the golf cart ride there the first day was very intimidating — the house is located further south than we anticipated, and it’s a good 15-20 minutes to get back to town. That said, once we got used to it, the family enjoyed being away from the crowds and the peaceful atmosphere at the villa. With regard to the villa, if you are traveling with young children (as we were — 3 babies), the house is not up to the safety codes we are used to — for example banister railings are pretty far apart, and no handrails on steps, nor safety railing around back deck. This was more of a source of concern for me (grandma) than the parents — so just an fyi. Lastly I’ll say that the outside of the villa could use some TLC. A good pressure washing and just detailed cleaning — especially on upper deck. Inside of villa was immaculate!

From renewing our vows on the beach to sharing Belize’s underwater beauty with our entire family, Villa Mandevilla made this trip unforgettable.Our stay at Villa Mandevilla in Belize was incredible. The beachfront villa is beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect setting for a family vacation or special celebration. It was the ideal location for our vow renewal.Cora was amazing and made everything seamless. She coordinated our Belize City to island flights and arranged golf carts for our entire group, even with people arriving and leaving at different times. Her organization made the whole trip stress-free.We visited during sargassum season, but the crew cleared the beach quickly each day so it still looked beautiful for our ceremony photos.Owner Patrick was incredibly kind and helpful when we had a small travel hiccup, and he recommended a fantastic private chef who prepared an unforgettable dinner for our vow renewal evening.Cora’s husband Johnny runs an outstanding Belize scuba diving operation. He organized incredible reef dives, lobster hunting, and beach barbecues. The best part was that our whole family could participate — including my mother-in-law who hadn’t dived in 20 years and our son Jonah, who finally discovered why his mom loves the ocean so much.Villa Mandevilla was the perfect place for some of the most meaningful family memories we’ve ever shared. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

This property is exactly as advertised. Location is amazing - far enough out of town to feel a little secluded but still easy access to restaurants, stores etc. The private beach is amazing!!! Access to paddle board and kayak right out the back door was really great. Property management was excellent - very responsive - highly recommend doing the day snorkelling tour with Johnny it was the highlight of our trip!
