In contrast, the original part of the house exudes a cozy ambiance, with the living room serving as an inviting fireside escape. The residence skillfully harmonizes traditional and modern elements, showcasing two impressive stone fireplaces and lofty ceilings.
Outside, the property has undergone extensive renovations since 2020, now featuring a refreshing pool, available in the summer months of June, July, and August. This is the perfect spot for fun under the sun.

The kitchen was great. We mostly ate out but what we needed was there. The house was clean and homey. We loved the layout with our big family! We did not use the hot tub because the light on the porch was not working and we were going to use it at night. Communication was timely.

We stayed at Cider House for Thanksgiving. It was a multi-generational family gathering from ages 11-72. The house was clean, accurately represented in the pictures and spacious. The house is conveniently located across from Mercier Orchards as well as downtown Blue Ridge and McCaysville. We enjoyed our time at the house. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool but the hot tub was perfect. We did wish that there was a bathroom on the second floor as it was rather inconvenient for guests to walk up and down to use the bathroom. Also, there was no indication in the description of dampness in the basement, but it was readily apparent by the odor as well as the dehumidifier. As a result, the kids didn’t go down there to play at all. The basement and the games down there might as well not even have been there for our purposes. That did not diminish too much the overall experience. The hosts were quick to communicate and respond to questions. Overall we had a great time at Cider House.

It was the perfect relaxing weekend away for our girls trip! We had a great time in the peace and quiet relaxing by the pool, cooking dinners, and just enjoying our mom time off!
