About this house rental

You will love our clean 4 bedroom/2 bath cottage as much as we do! The home is located in a quiet sub right in downtown Port Austin. Fully stocked with everything you need from pots and pans all the way to a beach supplies. Relax and have dinner on our deck or have cocktails on the front screened porch - both with lake views across the road (not directly on water). Walk to the Farmer's Market and restaurants in town, Paks Backyard, kayak rental, marina, Glen Royal Wedding Venue and the State Harbor in minutes. Bird Creek Park and Beach and splash pad are right in our neighborhood. Literally walk everywhere!
(Please keep in mind that your booking amount includes a refundable security deposit when totaled).
*Sleeps 10 ~Two bedrooms have Queen beds and two have full beds. Two couches in the living room if you need some more room.
*Two bathrooms. One full with shower and tub and the other with shower.
* Appliances: stove/oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.
* No dishwasher or laundry facilities, however, the Coffee
Bean and Clean is about 0.1 miles up the street. Grab a
coffee and throw in a load of laundry if needed.
* Linens provided : towels, sheets, pillows and blankets . We have some beach towels not many.
* Fire pit. Additional chairs behind house.
* Huge yard for games (we have games for use)
* Help yourselves to our beach supplies cooler, wifi, DVD/VHS. Smart TV

I have to say Mary is a very nice property host. She answered our questions to be sure we felt the house would meet our needs. I rated it a 3. When we arrived the house was open and i was
concerned that i had the wrong address and that someone was there. Upon further inspection we decided to enter. I think there needs to be more caution taken in regards to this. It is a safety concern given the world today. When putting our son to bed we were shocked that the beds were not made as if someone was sleeping in them. I made the beds. we noticed no AC as well. Mary message me, and asked if we could leave the house the following day to have it repaired for a discount. We agreed and we received a small discount of 100.00. The house isn't ideal for someone in a wheelchair. If you're able to walk you can manage. The space is tight and not easy to maneuver. My husband got bitten really bad while sleeping in more than one bed. All over his legs. He is allergic and we ended our stay a day early. The dates posted are not accurate. Our stay was Thursday august 14th to the 18th. We left on the 17th. Anyway that was our experience. there.
