Brand new oversized back deck features Chicago brick and fully enclosed custom welded handrails to enhance view of distant mountain. Automatic lighting creates a relaxing experience on the back deck in the evening. Dining and lounge chairs are included on the deck area as well as a grill. We had a great time at the Donkey House! This home was very clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything you need. We felt very comfortable there. The location is great, the neighborhood beautiful, quiet and close to the cozy towns of Cave Creek and Carefree. The hosts, Karla and Rod, have been wonderful and it was a pleasure to meet them. The eggs from their chickens were delicious and we enjoyed meeting the two adorable donkeys, Rosie and Mamacita.

We had a lovely stay at the Donkey house. Donkey house is a nicely re-done older Arizona ranch home sitting on a big piece of land in a very quiet area. Close to great hiking and restaurants but off the beaten path. Perfect for what we were looking for, Donkeys were like big dogs that didn't bark, just hanging around in their coral area playing or lying in the sun. Great break from Chicago winter.

We had a wonderful time. Three couples traveling together and this home was perfect for us. Highly recommend. Hosts were super. Thanks for a great experience!
