Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Brown County, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring.
These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience!
PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee.
Effective July 1, 2025 the county has raised the innkeepers tax from 5% to 8%.

The cottage was homey. Super clean. Well stocked kitchen. Cozy living room with eating area. Has washer/dryer. Hot water. Large patio with nice seating. Even has TV outdoors. Hot tub. Outdoor fire pit with lots of wood. Quiet. Walking distance into town. Close to State Park. Best part for me they allow dogs without size restriction. It’s hard to find a rental that allows big dogs. They support the humane society too with a portion of your pet deposit. Manager was quick to respond to my questions. Oh and there is a creek right off the patio which my dog loved.

Perfect place if can’t stay in Bloomington. Cute downtown. Wish we didn’t have so many competing priorities. Definitely want to come back and explore more of Brown County
