About this chalet rental
Kick back and relax in this tranquil mountain chalet located near Black Hawk. You'll have full access to this private, newly built property set on 1.5 acres with stunning panoramic views. Enjoy the many trails nearby, experience nightlife at the casinos in downtown Black Hawk, or simply relax at the chalet … a warm and inviting place to watch the sunset on the deck or enjoy snuggling by the fire. You choose your adventure. You’ll be eager to come back for more.

You’ll be surrounding with the great outdoors and are central enough to fully discover the many trails nearby. Many adventures await you, just use your imagination and explore.
In need of further discoveries, such as great hiking and skiing activities away from big crowds? The house is ideally located with easy highway access:
- 10 minutes to Golden Gate Canyon State Park
- 10 minutes to downtown Black Hawk/Central City
- 20 miles to Eldora ski resort
- 15 miles to Nederland
- 30 miles to Boulder
- 17 miles to Idaho Springs
- 30 miles to Echo Mountain Ski

And best of all, the house is only an hour away from Denver which makes it the perfect spot for an extended stay or a mere weekend retreat!
★Driving Conditions★
Its highly recommended that you have AWD or 4x4 to access the property from Sept to May. The roads are well maintained but with an elevation of 9,200 feet snow can and will come at any time. Additionally, we do our best to keep the driveway cleared of snow with a plow service after any significant snowfall. Therefore please be prepared for snow, it can easily disrupt your plans!
★Other Amenities★
Two miles away is the rec center which for a small entrance fee gives you access to a couple indoor pools great for swimming laps or playing with kids (water slide!), as well as a variety of exercise equipment.
★Living Room★
Spacious living room with beautiful views of the mountains and walkout access to the deck. A large sofa and comfortable lounge chair provide seating for 5 in front of the TV and a gas fireplace. Bring down the bean bag from the loft for an additional seat.
★TV and Entertainment★
50” Fire television with all the main streaming apps available. Just login and enjoy. With 100 mbps of wifi, you’ll have enough bandwidth for HD movies and other needs.
★ Cell Phone coverage★
AT&T and T-Mobile/Sprint have a decent cell coverage at the house and neighborhood whereas Verizon is very limited. Please download checkin information and Wifi password prior your arrival to avoid not being able to communicate with us.
★KITCHEN★
The spacious kitchen has everything you need to prepare the perfect meal, including a electric stove, microwave, toaster and a coffee maker.
★BEDS & BATHS★
The chalet features 1 private bedroom (with Queen bed), a generous sized Loft with 2 full sized beds and 1 full bathroom with shower. Fully stocked with linens, towels, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner and body soap.
★Outdoor★
In addition to the deck off the main living space, there is an outdoor picnic table, a swing and a wood teepee for kids to enjoy.
★ESSENTIALS★
The house is equipped with high speed WiFi (100 Mbps) and a wood burning stove with ample wood supplied to enjoy a cozy fire at night.

Absolutely enjoyed our week long stay at gorgeous Peaceful Mountain Chalet! Everything you need is provided. The home is perfectly clean and so comfortable. The views are like a dream! The location is so peaceful and is just a short drive to Blackhawk casinos and Golden Canyon State Park. The host provides great communication. Highly recommend this chalet and host. Hope to visit again!

This is the most beautiful home ever. We saw turkeys and even a golden eagle in a tree. The property is quiet and peaceful. Clean and modern. We enjoyed our stay very much, we never got to have a fire because it wasn’t cold enough but would love to have had one. The outdoor deck is so amazing to have. The mountains are beautiful in the morning.

We came out ftom MN to celebrate our nephews graduation from high school. This property ended up be 10 mins from our families home. The property is as displayed. The beds were super comfortable. Appliances were updated and clean. No complaints from our family.The view was amazing. The garage was super convenient. It even fit our Yukon XL. The homeowners were very quick with responses and kind.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at the mountain Chalet in May. Pretty snow storms and great snow peaked mountain views from the deck! Very comfortable bed and bedding. Everything you need including a garage space. There was even nature trivia & food truck at the Very Nice brewery just up the road. Close to lots of hiking- we enjoyed Golden Gate Canyon and Eldorado state parks.
