About this villa rental
Villa Mila is a 3 bedroom villa with a private swimming pool. There is a open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area which lead directly to a shaded dining terrace overlooking the private swimming pool and garden. The modern fully fitted kitchen is well equipped.
The master bedroom is spacious and has air-conditioning. There is a 2nd double bedroom and twin bedroom, all are well furnished. There is a full bathroom with shower over the bath. There are 2 high quality air-conditioning units which with the internal doors left ajar keep the whole villa cool.
Villa Mila offers an ideal location for a relaxing holiday and is within a 5-10minute walk of a lovely family Restaurant and Bar with childrens play area. In addition to the sun terrace around the private swimming pool, the villa also has a large roof terrace with views to the private swimming pool and garden

This region of the Costa Dorada is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and unspoilt regions of the Mediterranean coast. For beach lovers the coastline offers an abundance of stunning blue flag golden sandy beaches and quiet coves.
PORTAVENTURA, the largest themepark in Europe, Ferrari land, and water parks are within 25minutes of the villa (by car or regular train service from L'Ametlla). The magnificent city of Barcelona is approx. 90mins away.
The villa is very easily accessible with Ryan Air and Jet 2, Thomson/TUI operating flights from the UK, Ireland and Europe to Reus only 30 mins away, Castellon 1hr 15mins away. Then there is Barcelona 90 minutes away, served by a number low cost airlines, from Europe, the UK and Ireland including; Easy Jet, Ryan-air, Vueling, Norweigian, BA, Level, KLM, Swiss, Luftansa, Eurowings, Iberia, Air France etc…. Valencia and Girona airports are also only approx. 2 hours away, also offering low cost air-lines.
The pretty fishing villages of L'Ametlla de Mar and L’Ampolla are a breath of fresh air, rare gems in the Mediterranean coastline. L’Ametlla de Mar is located within a 5-10minute drive of the villa, it is a popular destination for couples and families who return year after year to soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town which has retained it’s authentic charm. L’Ametlla de Mar offers a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. An ideal location for a relaxing drink in the sunshine, or on a warm evening in one of the tapas bars, traditional fish restaurants, or international restaurants on the port, where you can watch the catch of the day being reeled in.
There are many other fabulous harbour towns and mountain villages steeped in culture and tradition nearby. A little further a field you will find the historic cities of Reus, birthplace of Gaudi, and Tarragona with it’s beautiful Roman Amphitheatre. Then not forgetting the magnificent city, of Barcelona where the influence of Gaudi has made Barcelona one of the most impressive cities in the world.
For a relaxing day out, the Ebro Delta nature reserve is within a 25minute drive and is truly stunning, it is world renowned for the rare species of wildlife and birds. The beaches are incredible, the sand dunes were used as the setting in the film 'Sahara' starring Penelope Cruz and several music videos. There are also lots of routes to take up into the picturesque mountains, where you will find lots of pretty mountain villages and views that will take your breath away.
Golf: There are 4 golf courses within 30minutes drive of this area.

We had a great stay, the villa was very clean with everything we needed, the pool was excellent and we had lots of space on a quiet holiday villa estate.
The local town of L'Amelda Del Mar was very nice for a visit with great restaurants.
Lots of beaches to choose from and some interesting places to go and find in land.

40 minute drive from Reus Airport. Easy to find, following the instructions provided. There was 6 of us and we were met by Jessica at the office who is very welcoming and relaxed. Then she showed us to the villa and told us about the folder of information in the villa where there is everything you need to know in it. All the rooms were spotless, pool was big enough, there was nothing to worry about at all. All was very simple. 5 mins away from L Ametlla by car, this place is perfect for anyone wanting a quiet family holiday. Communication from the office was excellent before the trip and all questions are answered quickly, even the silly ones! An excellent time and would happily go back.

We spent a very enjoyable week in this villa in the quiet surroundings with our 2 children and the grandparents. The villa was well equipped, and is very comfortable. The swimming pool was the centre of attention for the kids, and having a beautiful beach nearby made it ideal for us.
We enjoyed 3 nights at the Bambalina Bar and Restaurant, which was within 10 minute walk of the villa. We would recommend this restaurant for good service and food, and a nice family atmosphere.
The children wanted me to mention Aquapolis in La Pineda, they say it is the best water park they have ever been to.
We jave just used our discount cupon from Family Villas and are already looking forward to returning in 2017!

The house has all the basic things, a wonderful pool, good AC and a very quiet location, however, during our stay the water heater and oven did not work as well as we had a gas leakages.
Family Villas responded fairly quickly, so both the oven and the gas leak was fixed during the stay.
