A rare combination of central location and private island seclusion

A wonderful and historic spot only a short walk to straw market, grocery store, shops and restaurants so you don’t really need a car unless you want to explore more widely.The host is wonderful if not too busy she might offer to take you to a beautiful nearby beach like she did for usWe loved the privacy of our little island -sitting on the point with amazing blue all around you feel you have your own piece of paradise with morning tea/coffee or an evening rumThey are working on getting some local boat rental places to allow multi day rentals and tying up the boats in their little harbor which would be great as they have multiple spots to tie up Boats right outside your doorAlthough small, they also have three beaches at low tide, and we snorkeled around the point and saw a stingray and some tropical fish and corals— not a large reef, but still nice. I would suggest bringing water ski gloves or diving gloves because the rocks along the coast are very sharp and would allow you to hug the rocks to stay close to shore and deal with any waves that might be there and keep you close to the edge to avoid any potential boat traffic in the channel We loved our time and expect to be back Thanks to Nancy and her team for a lovely visit

Nancy is a wonderful, helpful host. Once she knew our arrival time, she had a taxi meet us at the airport and she welcomed us at the property 15 minutes later. She's been there 60 years so she can answer any questions we had. We were on the 2nd floor of the old building on a lush overgrown tropical jetty, porch and back deck overlooking the Georgetown and Elizabeth Harbors...wonderful, active location but totally relaxing.

This place is beautiful! Nancy was so kind and accommodating, I hope to stay here again.

I can’t say enough about this property! It was convenient, close to everything you could need. The host Nancy arranged a taxi to bring me from the airport all the way to the front door & help with my bags. She gave me a tour of the property with my small dog. It is beautiful & peaceful. The views are amazing. There is room to walk and sit outside to watch sunrise or sunset. There is a private beach area to pull up a boat. I loved staying here and would highly recommend.
