La Casa del Medianero is a charming, traditional Canarian home that beautifully blends rustic elegance with modern comfort. Located in the peaceful village of Mácher, it offers the perfect balance between tranquil relaxation and island exploration, with effortless access to both the north and south of Lanzarote. It is the ideal retreat for couples, digital nomads, or small families seeking an authentic island experience away from mass tourism. Please note that we highly recommend renting a car to fully enjoy everything the island has to offer.
The Space
The Luciana room is designed to be your private sanctuary, offering a seamless blend of traditional charm and modern amenities.
The Room
The bedroom features a comfortable double bed (160x200 cm) and plenty of natural light. It includes a private, en-suite bathroom equipped with a modern walk-in shower, a hairdryer, and complimentary essential toiletries (gel/shampoo dispenser, body lotion, and hand soap). Bathrobes are also provided for your comfort. The entire suite is completely private for your exclusive use.
Living Area & Private Kitchen
Luciana suite features its own well-equipped private kitchen, giving you total independence to prepare your meals. The kitchen is fully outfitted with a gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, blender, juicer, and a fridge-freezer integrated into the kitchen unit. All necessary pots and pans, as well as salt, pepper, and oil, are provided for your convenience.
The adjoining living space includes a comfortable two-seater sofa and a flexible sofa bed. For entertainment or remote work, the space is equipped with a Smart TV and high-speed, stable fiber-optic WiFi (~65 Mbps).
Smart Climate Control
To ensure a pleasant stay while respecting the environment, the accommodation features integrated air conditioning with both cooling and heating modes. The climate control operates on standard timers within a centralized adjustment system to maintain an optimal interior temperature (no physical remote control is available). However, settings can be slightly adapted to suit the preference of each guest during their stay.
Outdoor Spaces
The suite opens up directly onto a pleasant outdoor area furnished with a table and chairs. Overlooking the garden, patio, or pool, it is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or an evening glass of local wine.
Guest Access & Shared Common Areas
While your room, kitchen, and bathroom are completely private, La Casa del Medianero consists of several suites. As our guest, you will enjoy shared access to our beautiful communal facilities.
The heated saltwater pool is kept at a pleasant 24°C all year round. Pool hours are from 09:00 to 19:00 from April to October, and from 09:00 to 18:00 from November to March. Guests can also enjoy the sun terrace and gardens, which feature beautifully landscaped patios designed for soaking up the Lanzarote sun.
A barbecue area is available for guest use and is perfect for open-air dining, though please note that charcoal and cooking utensils are not provided. The washing machine is for communal use and is located in this barbecue area. For drying your clothes, each guest has their own dedicated washing line on the wall located on the garden side. Free, hassle-free on-site parking is available inside the property.

Mácher is a quiet, authentic village in southern Lanzarote, perfectly positioned for seamless sightseeing.
For nature and attractions, the volcanic wonders of Timanfaya National Park and Los Hervideros are just a 15-minute drive away. Local conveniences are also just a few minutes away, including supermarkets, local restaurants serving authentic Canarian cuisine, petrol stations, and the historic village church.

Arrival is a digital keyless access.
To ensure a smooth, hassle-free arrival, guests are required to complete a mandatory online digital check-in form prior to arrival. Once completed, you will receive your details for secure keyless access via a webapp, along with a personalized digital guide with local insider recommendations and essential contact information. Check-in is available from 15:00, and check-out is before 11:00.
Capacity & Rates
The base rate covers up to two guests. A third guest or up to two small children can be accommodated on the sofa bed for an additional nightly fee. Please ensure all extra guests are correctly added to your reservation details.
Cleaning & Linens
Bed linen, bath towels, pool-beach towels, and kitchen cloths are all provided for your stay. Only for stays of longer than one week, we provide a courtesy cleaning every 4 days, which includes a change of linen and towels along with a quick refresh of the accommodation.
Family-Friendly Extras (Baby Pack)
Traveling with a little one? A complete Baby Pack is available upon request, subject to availability and at an additional cost. It includes a travel cot with sheets and a blanket, a high chair, a baby towel, an infant toiletry kit, a portable baby bath, and children’s tableware.

Clean, spacious and very complete. Located in a quiet and peaceful area, away from the mass tourism (which we considered a big advantage) but central enough to reach restaurants/bars/cafés and spots for other activities within a short amount of time by car. There's lots of information at your disposal through the website/app and Sarah is easy to reach and quick to reply if you have any additional questions.
It might get a bit warm inside the apartment on sunny and hot days, and there's no airconditioning inside the place. But because there are opposite doors, it's possible to 'air' the appartment.

very nice, quiet location. Close to beaches and restaurants. Lovely swimming pool where you can relax. Coffee corner very pleasant.
The owner is available if you have any questions and will do everything he can to make you happy.
There is no air conditioning, it would have been nice if there was a good fan in the apartment
