About this country house rental
Sumptuous very private house completely private pool with spring board, inner walled garden with large lawned area. Surrounded by fields and farms. Ideal for a getaway and sight seeing holiday as 'Tafiart' is on the border of four departments. Tafiart is a private 'Home' therefore just like being at home with sunshine, peace and quiet yet Pau and all the fun it holds is 30 minutes maximum away. Several great restaurants within 2-10 minutes away as are 27 Vineyards.
Tafiart is great for a group as there are several 'Break-out' areas for some peace and quiet. For the 'Fois gras' lovers, you're living in the region and Jurancon, Madiran, are on the doorstep for wonderful wine. Also Eugenie Les Bains, famous 5* health resort 10 minutes.
Great for Cyclists too as the Tour de France passes close by. Very popular with french cyclists around here
Flights and Location: Although I say the house is in Pyrenees Atlantiques it is right on the border of the Landes also. A great location for four regions! 25 minutes from Pau Airport, CityJet from London City low cost flights and Ryanair to Lourdes 45mins
Charles de Gaulle and Orly Air France at least 8 flights per day to Pau from 29 Euro.
Bordeaux and Biarritz BA and Easy Jets and Ryanair
Bergerac from Leeds Bradford Flybe sat to sat
Toulouse from Leeds Bradford with Jet2.
Toulouse/Manchester with Jet2 also
Perfect for a two family holiday, house parties and birthdays, Hen Weekends etc too

New addition is a comprehensive set of Gym Equipment. Not 'Machines' but everything else, Step, TRX, Kettle Bells, Bar Bells, and Dumb Bells, and videos and info to with them.
Pau is a cosmopolitan city and very equestrian

A lovely property with a great pool - ideal for a big group with kids. Even before finalising our booking Craig was extremely quick to respond to queries and provided loads of info. This level of attentiveness continued throughout our stay when we asked for more recommendations and help. The property is located in quiet countryside and was easy to find. You will almost certainly want a hire car to get there and to go out and about. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked with glasses, utensils, crockery, coffee machine and ice machine so it is great for preparing nice meals in the evening. Thanks Craig and JP for being brilliant hosts and for all your help!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home and property, as well as getting to know Craig and the great region. While having a wonderful, quiet and private country stay, there are amazing restaurants and all services within close range. The house is wonderfully equipped and decorated and the yard/pool is great. We would all plan to come back again. Thanks Craig!

This is the perfect house for a family reunion or for a group of friends to come together. Plenty of sleeping rooms and plenty of space to find a quiet spot. Also great is that most of the rooms are having their own bathroom. On top of that the house has a swimming pool and a large garden to take a stroll. The house is well equipped, with a fully functioning kitchen and plenty of pots and pans to cook. A huge barbecue is available in case you want have a go with that.
We really enjoyed the house and quiet surroundings, certainly a place to get together.

We stayed at Tafiart for 10 days during July/August 2020, for a family holiday of 13. What can I say, the place is beautiful. We all had loads of space in the house and the gardens. The kitchen had everything we needed, we also used the BBQ which was great. The house has separate sitting areas and the bedrooms are spacious. The pool was excellent and everybody enjoyed a dip and the pool area had loungers and chairs. I have to say it was the best holiday I’ve ever had, we loved every second.
