I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

Destin is the perfect place to go to hide from winter snow, and if you dont like hot weather either, temp are mid 50s -60s. The Islander Resort where we stay is super snowbird friendly, and our 6th floor unit is comfy, modern, and has glorious sunset views. The Islander provides the palm room for many get togethers, potlucks, yoga, mahjongg, dominos and card games. People are friendly and inclusive. We’ve returned for seven years and are planning to return next winter.

cute space, long walk to the beach from it's location in the building. Check in & out was great & staff was extremely helpful with an issue in the building's laundry room, but there was an issue of a loud repetitive knocking sound from either above or beside the unit that I reported & it took 2 days to get it resolved. Alan the beach chair & umbrella attendant was nice & helpful
