Relax at the Lonestar Lodge! Close to all the fun in DFW!

It was wonderful and the host was fabulous as well.

Great location for events at Dickies Arena (walking distance!) and easy access to the rest of Fort Worth. Walking distance to little shops on one of the main roads as well. Cute and safe neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the host was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. However, the house seems to need better upkeep. It wasn't as clean as expected such as having dirty dishes in the dishwasher, table needed to be wiped, dusty furniture, and the towels were musty and wet/damp when we arrived. Having onsite washer/dryer was a plus which we used to freshen the towels and do a load of our own laundry after a night out. Overall we think a few furniture upgrades, some maintenance, and a deep clean would go a long way. That being said, we would stay here again for the convenience and great host. Shop recommendations: walk to the Aura Clinic for great crystals, tarot and aura readings!If you are looking for a tattoo shop with amazing artists and probably the best receptionist we have ever met, visit Randy Adams tattoo shop on E Lancaster.

Cute house with a great location close to the Will Rogers and downtown Fort Worth. The house was not clean, but owner responded quickly to rectify the situation.

I would have to say this was the dirtiest VRBO we have ever stayed in. We’ve been coming to Fort Worth for the past five years, and this was by far the most disappointing experience.There was nowhere to sit outside, and the deck was rotting and felt unsafe. Inside, the cleanliness was a major issue. The floors were filthy—to the point where you had to keep your shoes on at all times. The baseboards and doors were covered in thick dust and grime, as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The refrigerator was dirty, and the kitchen sponge was old with no replacement available.We arrived to find the dishwasher already loaded with dishes and laundry left in the dryer. The outdoor trash can had not been emptied. The small shower clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly, with an orange, slimy ring around the drain, and it drained very poorly—leaving standing water that reached about a quarter of the tub by the end of a shower.We didn’t end up using the third bedroom. The metal bed frame was loud and wobbly, and the bottom bunk sheets had visible stains (or were simply dirty). We chose to crowd into the other two bedrooms instead.The biggest issue overall was the lack of cleanliness throughout the home. While the property manager was responsive when we requested ant killer (there were dozens of ants on the counter), it was inconvenient to have to store all food in the fridge to avoid them.
