About this cabin rental
Built in 2021, this brand new beautiful cabin is awaiting you! With 1200sf on the main floor and a 600sf loft there is plenty of room for your whole family or group to spread out. The main floor features a master bedroom in with king sized bed, attached private bathroom with dual vanities and walk in tile shower. The fully equipped kitchen opens up into the living room so nobody is left out. Kitchen table and breakfast bar seats 7. Also on the main floor is a laundry room, storage room with chest freezer and a powder bath. Set the thermostat at a fixed temperature or use the wood stove while enjoying the beautiful views seen from the 23ft tall wall of windows. Outside, the beautiful snow capped views of Mt. Redoubt and the other adjacent volcanoes towering to 10,000ft elevation are what attracted us to this private 6 acre slice of heaven. Stay inside or go out on the deck and enjoy watching the boats out in the Cook Inlet, passing bald eagles or maybe catch a moose or two feeding in the lush vegetation. There is also a Traeger grill for you to cook the days catch or make that perfect ribeye.

Staying here, you are 50 minutes from flossing Reds on the Kenai River or 20 minutes from your favorite charter on the Homer Spit. This cabin was the start of our retirement dream after coming to this area for many years and we hope you enjoy your stay!

The view was almost surreal, so breath taking. Loved having everything we needed on the first floor, no steps to laundry, main bedroom, bath etc. Even convenient 1/2 bath on main floor. We saw Momma Moose and her calf several times, many Eagles, and the funny Magpies. Very well stocked with everything you need, including a lot of paper goods, but do bring laundry soap and shampoo. Everything very modern and updated in this brand new house. Peaceful and quiet, even with the highway nearby, we did not notice it much. Attentive hosts that checked on us several times, and great communication with owner via messaging. Convenient to Kenai and Soldotna an hour north for Fred Meyers and Walmart. The Halibut at Captain Patties was the best ever in Homer.

Beautiful view of Cook Inlet, so no guessing on “weather” should we go fishing or not just look out the BIG bay windows for the thumbs 👍. House is well put together for entertaining lots of Alaskan art. My bed comfortable with hi dollar mattress. It’s the place to be for fishing halibut tides. Well done will come back.
