Hello friends—welcome to Chic Beach Shack, our nearly beachfront bungalow a two-minute walk from Silver Strand Beach in Oxnard. Vaulted wood ceilings, vintage beach charm, and comfortable spaces make settling in easy. Spend the day on the sand, then come home to the hot tub, dinner in the huge private backyard, and an evening around the fire pit. Dogs are welcome, and beach gear is ready to go. Hosted with care by Chic Beach Vacations.

There’s a reason our company was named after this home—Chic Beach Shack has that special something. Vaulted wood ceilings, vintage beach touches, and modern comforts give it a warm, welcoming feel.
Enjoy coffee before your beach walk, stretch out on the sofa afterward, and settle in for a movie by the electric fireplace. The fully stocked kitchen has a coffee station, and mini-split A/C in each room keeps everyone comfortable.
The home is single-story, with a few interior steps.

• King bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
• Queen bedroom.
• Sleeper sofa in the living room.
Hotel-quality linens, extra pillows, and plush towels are provided.

The home has one bathroom, adjoining the king bedroom, with a double vanity, deep soaking tub, and walk-in shower. Fresh towels and essential bath amenities are provided.
***YOUR PRIVATE BACKYARD***
The huge, fully fenced backyard is the heart of Chic Beach Shack. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub, cook dinner on the gas BBQ, and gather around the outdoor table with seating for eight.
A gazebo, fire pit lounge seating, and string lights make evenings here especially inviting.
***BEACH DAYS MADE EASY***
Silver Strand Beach is a two-minute walk away. We provide chairs, a wagon, an umbrella, boogie boards, and beach toys—just add your snacks and head to the sand.
***FAMILIES & DOGS***
A high chair and Pack ’n Play are always available for little ones. Dogs are welcome, too, with a fully fenced backyard to enjoy together.
The dog fee is $25 per dog, per stay, payable through your Guest Portal. Please have your dog arrive clean and on flea control. Sorry, no cats.

• Your entry code is released inside your Guest Portal 48 hours before check-in, after you’ve completed the occupancy agreement.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! It was the perfect family- and pet-friendly getaway for our family of four. The location couldn’t have been better — just a block from the beach, making it easy to enjoy multiple trips to the ocean each day.The extra touches really made our stay special. Having access to boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, and an umbrella made our beach days effortless and fun. The house was well stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, coffee supplies, and tea, so we felt right at home from the moment we arrived.The two-bedroom, one-bath layout was ideal for our family, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially appreciated the mini-split AC units in every room, which kept the entire house cool and comfortable.The indoor and outdoor spaces were equally inviting. The outdoor lighting created such a relaxing ambiance in the evenings and made spending time outside one of our favorite parts of the trip. Grocery delivery from Walmart was also easy and convenient, making our stay even more stress-free. With a couple trips to the corner store for ice cream and adult beverages.This home had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation, and we would absolutely stay here again

Rented the Chic Beach Shack for a month while my mom recovered from surgery and the place was perfect. Very close to the beach although to get a view of the ocean you have to walk across the sand as it is not just a straight even shot. Lisa’s place had everything we needed to relax and recover. The backyard was spacious and nicely put together for calm evenings. This property is exactly what it’s listed as, Chic Beach Shack. Definitely not a high end squeaky clean new property but was perfect for a cozy stay. AC units in all rooms were a huge plus as it did get stuffy and warm in May/June. My two small dogs loved their stay here as well! Very cute neighborhood with a friendly neighborhood bar. Lisa and team were very accommodating and quickly responded to all our needs.

Nice location to Silver Strand Beach and a good amount of space even with a small footprint. I was excited about having the hot tub but despite communications since checkin in about it not functioning, it only was repaired until the last evening of our stay, which was disappointing. The point of contact was accessible, but follow up on queries was slow.
