Just 15 yds to the beach access, this bright and airy duplex is the perfect place for a relaxing OBX getaway. One of the original flat-top cottages in SS, each side has been thoughtfully updated with modern finishes while maintaining its coastal charm. Each unit sleeps 4 w/2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a full kitchen, a comfortable lining area & spacious large deck w/screened-in porch to enjoy your morning coffee, outdoor meals, or unwinding after a day at the beach. It's the perfect beachside escape for families, couples, or friends. Rent both sides, (there are adjoining interior doors), save $185, & have a 4 bedroom cottage that sleeps 8. (Kids on one side, adults on the other). The south unit also includes an access ramp & bathroom handrail for added accessibility. NOTE: This is a duplex with a shared wall. If you are bringing a dog with you, please be considerate of the guests in the unit next door and minimize barking indoors as much as possible.

We had a great week at the beach! The house listing is accurate and in a perfect location. Being in Southern Shores gives you the opportunity to go toward Duck/ Corolla or the Nags Head direction. The beach entrance is right across the street. You’re so close, you can sometimes hear the waves. We had a great week!
We didn’t have neighbors most of the week, but the walls are thin (which is mentioned in listing). You can hear people talking and doing things in the kitchen. It wasn’t too bad, but something I would have been more concerned about with a baby vs our dog making noise. Thankfully, we only had two nights with neighbors.
