Driveway Info
The driveway is a bit steep and bumpy—just a heads-up! Please avoid bringing low-clearance sports cars. AWD/4x4 can be helpful in snowy or icy conditions, but not usually needed.
WiFi & Cell Signal
We’ve got Starlink WiFi and but cell signal can sometimes be spotty. But hey, you’re in Shenandoah, so feel free to unplug and soak up the nature!
Water Notice
It’s a mountain thing—sometimes the tap water has a funny taste or smell. Totally safe, but feel free to bring your own drinking water if you're sensitive to it.
Before You Go
Please wash any used dishes by hand before check-out. We appreciate the help!
Bringing Your Pup?
We love hosting furry friends! Just please clean up after them and help keep the yard nice for the next guest.
Fire Pit
There’s a firepit for your use—but we don’t provide firewood (liability reasons). They’re easy to grab at a local store or gas station.

Please cover the hot tub when not in use
Please wiipe your feet before getting in—grit and pebbles can damage the system
Just So You Know:
The fireplaces are decorative only—please don’t try to light them
The jets in the bathtub are not functional
It's a remote escape cabin vibe, but we do have neighbors, you are alone in the mountain.
Being in the mountains, you may see bugs like flies, mosquitoes, ants, etc.—we’ve got sprays if needed, but it’s part of the nature experience

Quiet hours are from 10PM to 7AM—let’s keep it peaceful for everyone

Cabin was clean and neat. The air conditioning work well. Very pretty friendly. Having the fenced yard was perfect for our puppy. It was secluded enough but still close to all we wanted to do. Hot tub was great. Would recommend an update to the tub in the bathroom. Other than that it was a great stay.

This is an excellent place for a couple with its wonderful one bedroom, outside garden, and back porch hot tub. You can tell this house was renovated years ago. The layout and decorative touches are lovely. It could benefit from a deep cleaning but it was clean and ready for us. The driveway was extra bumpy after recent thunderstorms, but we were able to able to navigate it well enough. The detailed touches were very thoughtful, like the smores ingredients. We will definitely stay again if we are in the Luray area in the future.

Wonderful spot! My pup and I both loved the getaway. Host is super responsive and the a/c held up great during a record breaking heat dome. Definitely recommend!

Overall it was what we needed just for the two nights. We feel like the house and property could use some TLC, the pictures kind of catfish you into this place.
