We discovered Canyon Lake for the 1st time this summer when friends/neighbors invited us. It's only an hour away from our home in Seal Beach but we had never heard of it. We liked it so much that we decided that we would like to buy a vacation home here so we looked at renting but the minimum rental time allowed by the POA is 30 days so we decided to rent for the entire month of November and spend Thanksgiving here. We had friends and family come and go and we had a fabulous time! Matt was great to deal with and very attentive. We loved being near the park (horse shoes, etc...) We were able to enjoy both restaurants. We enjoyed the Pickle ball courts. We really enjoyed wine tasting in nearby Temecula. The kitchen was well stocked so we did ALOT of cooking. It also was nice to be an hour from home so my husband brought things as we needed them. You will want to plan on going to the grocery store and buying what may be needed right away. Toilet paper, paper towels, soap, laundry soap, etc....The bar was great too! The outdoor patio upstairs is great and all of our "kids" really enjoyed the "play room" downstairs as well. Very nice villa with all the amenities that you need to enjoy your stay. The owner is very nice and easy to reach if you need anything. The only thing you need to bring are your towels (bath & beach). The owner can sell you bath towels for 8 euros per person. You can buy beach towels nearby. The beds are comfortable, the villa is super clean and spacious. It has a caribbean feel to it. Not very luxurious but super comfortable. Walking distance to the beach and it has a pool for 4 villas.

Lovely property 2 min drive from beach. Beautiful private garden and quiet shared pool. Lots of beaches & restaurants close by. 10 mins from Porto Vecchio, lovely old town full of small old streets & countless eateries, ranging from cheap to very expensive, so something for everyone. Apart from vegans perhaps!!:-)
