BLUE COTTAGE Almost Paradise

I stayed at Almost Paradise from March 12-26 and the best way I can describe it is as a dream come true. My adorable cottage sat on a hillside overlooking the ocean, and waking up every day to the gorgeous view was one of the amazing things about my stay. The cottages have all been beautifully taken care of, and I appreciated the property housekeeper coming in daily to tidy up. Lucinda is a wonderful host - lovely to talk to, helpful, accommodating, and an incredible cook. I was lucky to be able to eat her food for dinner almost every night. I fell in love with her doggies Roxy and Pickles and she invited me to join her while she fed Roxy's 5-week-old puppies! St. Patrick's is a quiet part of Grenada, away from hotels, crowds, cruise ships, etc. It was a perfect place to work remotely from, with excellent internet, even better than the internet in Toronto! For now, I will dream about Almost Paradise until I return next March, when my dream can again come true. Thank you Lucinda!!!

This property was exactly what we were looking for in a long overdue getaway…….a second honeymoon of sorts. Located in a more remote section of the north end of Grenada with gorgeous views of the water and islands to the north. The suite has Caribbean character just the way we like it………tropical flowers growing over the balcony railing, a fresh breeze through the open windows & doors, geckos running around, peaceful, an outdoor shower, etc. Our host made us feel right at home, was enjoyable to visit with, and cooked a wonderful home-cooked meal at the on-site restaurant for us each night. If we are ever return to Grenada, we’ll definitely return to Almost Paradise.
