My family and I were in town for my granddaughters wedding. We needed space to prepare food for the potluck, which is why I chose a house over a motel. The space was excellent for our needs. A little more counter space would have been nice for us, but as a vacation rental, it was great. It was clean and well appointed, and beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, the bathrooms were large and functional, and the open plan dining/living room were excellent for keeping an eye on the children. The yard was a nice bonus and allowed the two children to play and us to watch them. We did not take advantage of the paddle board as it was a little chilly, but would have been fun. We did see other people out on the lake in both boats and paddle boards. The close proximity to the wedding venue made it easy to travel back and forth as needed. We felt safe and comfortable at the Heron House.

Was a beautiful spot in a quiet little town perfect for my daughters senior night, no close neighbors felt very comfortable and peaceful we would def stay again my only complaint was trying to figure out how to get in other than that it was great

Quality was average, at best. Host was not attuned to the small details that make a stay in a VRBO home special. Not enough outlets for charging. Not particularly clean looking. No dishwasher, no A/C. No tissue. No ice or way to make ice. No trash cans in bedrooms. TV not normal on and off. Must stream from your own app. It was quiet and private. Host was pleasant. Poor value for what we paid.
