Villa Torium Vélez-Málaga by Ruralidays

As a group of six, we’ve stayed in several villas on the Costa del Sol but this is by far the best. Beautifully presented in a fantastic location overlooking the sea. Everything you’d want for a relaxing holiday in the sunshine. Our host was very friendly and made us welcome on arrival. Thoroughly recommended.

We were a family group ranging in age from 92 years, to 3 months. The accommodation worked for everyone. Having two bedrooms on ground floor level was very helpful indeed, as was the fact that every bedroom had its own private bathroom facilities. The house was very comfortable, modern and well equipped. For holiday makers with youngsters, there is plenty of space for ball games, and running around. Fran was a lovely host, responsive to enquiries. There is a bus stop nearby with a service to Malaga for around €4. The buses pass regularly, and the timetable can be accessed online. At just over €1, you can easily visit Rincon de la Victoria, a nearby town. There’s a bar serving tapas just down from the house, and as other visitors have commented, the well stocked Mercadona is a short walk away and an even shorter drive. Plenty of cafés and bar/restaurants within walking distance, and the beach is literally across the road. The only drawback we experienced was the steep incline from the house down to beach level, which was too much for my elderly mother to manage and might be a challenge for guests with mobility issues, or young children. We got round it by using the car and it certainly didn’t detract from a fantastic holiday experience.

This was a wonderful villa. The communication with Fran was perfect and made the check in and out process a breeze. The house itself is beautiful and well appointed with the furnishing. The outdoor sitting and dining areas are ideal. Pool was great and just the right temperature. We spent a lot of time in the pool. Location is also nice. About 30 minutes from Malaga Airport. There is a Mercadona grocery within walking distance Property has a remote operated gate with parking. We were a family of 6 and had plenty of room. Only caution is be aware of the ants. Don’t leave food on counters or outside tables. Highly recommended and we would definitely return to this property.

We had a fantastic holiday at this beautiful villa. We were a family of 8 with two children under 3 and we all absolutely loved it. The views are incredible and panoramic over the sea and the pool is brilliant. It’s very private and a nice quiet location. There is a handy supermarket a 5 minute walk away and a 20 minute walk to the Benajarafe where there’s lots of bars and restaurants and a nice beach. We would recommend this to anyone, it’s absolutely perfect and had everything we needed.
