We’re conveniently located on the main street leading to downtown Tamarindo and other beaches.

We’ve lived here for many years, and here in Costa Rica we’ve finally found what we were looking for: la pura vida.
Paraiso Azul Suite is a guesthouse with a beautiful pool in the center of the property.
We’re always happy to help and available to give you the best recommendations for the surrounding area.
Suite Paraiso Azul, features a private entrance with off-site parking; it’s very bright and has 24-hour security cameras.
The famous Tamarindo Beach, popular worldwide, is a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk away.
There are also two supermarkets very close to the Suite.
- Super Fresco, a 5-minute walk away.
- Automercado, a 10-minute walk away.
At Tamarindo Beach, you can enjoy spectacular sunsets.
There are many restaurants, bars, nightclubs, family activities, and excursions,
including horseback riding, ATV tours, zip-lining, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, catamaran sailing, sport fishing, and 4 supermarkets, among many other things.
We are 1 kilometer from Tamarindo Airport. The airline that flies to Tamarindo is Natural Air, which departs from Juan Santa María Airport in the city of San José.
The flight from San José to Tamarindo takes 45 minutes, and the trip by shuttle or taxi takes 5 hours.
There’s also the option of flying from your home country to Liberia Airport, which is a 1-hour shuttle or taxi ride from Tamarindo.
It’s very safe and fun.

We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful piece of paradise oasis. The suite was immaculate, very roomy, clean, truly very comfortable with all the amenities you need for a long stay (as we stayed a week). Loved our private outdoor shower and the beautiful colorful decor (as our hosts are artists). We also enjoyed hanging out by the pool and common kitchen/dining area especially after a long day out on the beach and touring towns/beaches and various activities/excursions. While the place is just outside of main beach/action of Tamarindo (which can also be a good thing) - we did walk to town a few times (about 20min walk - about a mile or so), but only a few min drive by car or Uber. There is a coffee shop next door and some local grocery stores nearby. We did go to the nearby outdoor local Rural cafe a few times which was quite charming.The hosts, Sergio and Miriella have an amazing place that they take great pride in and always made sure you were well taken care of and enjoying your stay at their beautiful paradise. We really enjoyed our stay! Pura Vida!

Wow! Amazing gem of a place to stay in Tamarindo. Sergio and Mariela are the best in the business. Everything about this place is so beautiful and unique. We felt at home from start to finish. Your hosts here are incredible people and make every detail so special. We would look anywhere else on our next visit. Pura Vida!

We had an absolute wonderful stay at this location. You truly felt away at an Oasis. Beautiful surroundings and artwork. The art gallery is amazing. Not to mention our gracious hosts Sergio and Mariela who are the most kindest people. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Tamarindo!

The VRBO property was amazing, large unit, an outside shower that we were initially concerned about but turned out to be amazing. The property’s swimming pool was lovely. This location is not in the downtown area but there were a few restaurants that were wonderful
