Peaceful and nice. Just out of the main downtown tourist area and on a quiet street.

This row of no-frills rooms were affordable, clean and walking distance from Dez, a deli and (a little further on) quick-bites cafe with great gifts. Also nearby was Joshua Tree Saloon, which has an awesome large patio and pricey but good dinners and drinks.
