This is a 1950’s home recently remodeled in downtown Abingdon, Virginia. The perfect getaway for a couple or bring your kids. Queen bed in second bedroom. Master bedroom has queen adjustable bed. Clean, comfortable and cheerful, this cottage is within 2 block walking distance to historical Abingdon District, local restaurants and the VA Creeper Trail is just a few short blocks away.Get tickets to the Barter Theater... a must do! Biking, hiking, sightseeing or just come to relax. Inquires welcome. All furniture is made for comfort. Come relax and enjoy Abingdon with us!! Has a full kitchen and almost anything you will need utensil wise!

Very near shops, restaurants and the famous Barter Theatre! Also within a short walk to the Virginia Creeper Bike Trail.

The place needed a cleaning from top to bottom. Bathroom towels cheap, and didn’t smell fresh. Dirty couch in living room covered with a blanket. Kitchen was good with the exception of lots of junk in cabinets Some appliances, toaster oven, need replacement. 1 wine glass. There were 4 of us.Kitchen was ok. Bathroom had new fixtures.It was nice. Just needed good cleaning.Bedrooms were small. Beds were comfortable. Closets in front bedroom full of junk I don’t know about the other bedroom. Pillows thrown under our bed. Trash behind the bed in second bedroom.Air conditioning was good. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch. While it’s on a main road, traffic at night is lite, so that didn’t keep us awake. I’ve stayed in rental places in US, Canada and Europe, but nothing this bad. I certainly would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
