Coveside Cottage-on the shore overlooking Bass Hbr

One week on the Quietside with our two shihtzus was the reset we needed. Too many highlights from our trip to list. Not only would we stay here again, we would bring the whole family and never leave if it was an option :)

Lovely cottage on the waterfront as pictured. It was clean and comfortable. Some of the furniture in the seating area has actually been updated from what is in the picture and it’s all very nice. The host was responsive and accommodating.

This was our first time in Maine and because of our experience with this property and host, we came home and immediately booked another week in the fall. To say that these are a premier hosts is an understatement. The booking process was easy and we were contacted by the host with a kind and informative email with great tips and recommendations. The property and amenities were not only as stated but above and beyond. The property itself is beautiful and the view is so peaceful! Some wonderful little extras we experienced included, a picnic basket for a meal in all the beauty of the area, lint roller (it's the little things!), dog bowl, towel, blanket & toys, I could go on and on. This experience showed us that they are not only very thoughtful hosts but sincerely wanted us (pups included) to relax and feel welcome, which is why we are heading back in the fall! The cottage was exceptionally clean and well stocked utensils and plates. The cottage is incredibly situated and provides amazing views of bass harbor all day as well as being in a very quiet community. Ingrid was very clear with her instructions so they were easy to follow. Our dog was welcome in the cottage provided he didn’t go on any furniture which was easy to follow. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about our stay and Ingrid’s hospitality.
