And there’s no better place to stay than La Casona del Piquero, a house over 100 years old that was completely renovated in 2007 to offer visitors all the modern comforts. From any window in the house, you’ll have access to breathtaking views of the Lastres fishing village.

In addition to nearby beaches, you can also explore several interesting trails in the area. The Cliffs Trail will leave you speechless, though even more impressive is the Jurassic Museum, located 3 kilometers from the lodging.

Colunga and Lastres are important gems of Asturian pre-Romanesque art. Notable monuments include the Church of Santiago de Gobiendes, the Palace of Gobiendes—a historic-artistic monument—and the Church of Santa María de Sabada.

The house has four floors in total. On the first floor, accessible from the street, you’ll find the fully equipped kitchen and the living-dining room. One floor below, there is a master bedroom and a full bathroom. Another floor below, there is another bedroom with a large double bed and a full bathroom.
The living-dining room leads to the attic, where there are three single beds.
