About this house rental
This Baja gem will make your stay in Los Barriles comfortable, fun, convenient and super relaxing! This home is basically 2 homes in 1. Both equipped with in room a/c units, and drinkable, filtered water throughout!! AND - THIS HOME IS EQUIPPED WITH A BACKUP GENERATOR SO YOU DO NOT EXPERIENCE POWER OUTAGES!
Upper level comes with full kitchen, 2 bedrooms (king bed in master and one queen and one twin in secondary) and 1 bathroom (toilet 2 sinks, and shower,)living area (sofa makes into a bed,) kitchen bar seating, dining table for 8, staircase to roof level palapa where you can rock on our blue rocking chairs and gaze at sunset, sliding glass door to private patio with seating for 6 complete with hot tub. Access to pool, bbq, laundry and outdoor shower, firepit areas included. Sweeping ocean views can be enjoyed on the upper level patio or on the roof deck.
The lower level comes with 3/4 kitchen, 2 bedrooms (king size in master and two king size on secondary, kitchenette (complete with 3/4 fridge, stove top, microwave, toaster oven and more,) 1 bathroom inside (shower, 2 sinks and toilet) and 1 bathroom outside compelte with outdoor shower and enclosed toilet and sink, dining table with 4 chairs on interior and 4 chairs and table at exterior patio,and small living area complete with a sofa that makes into a bed, sliding glass door onto patio with ocean view, access to pool, firepit, outdoor shower, laundry room (with toilet and sink,) and bbq area and extra 4 person outdoor dining table. Yard is gated and secure.
Rate comes in at approximately $115/night per bedroom.
Do you enjoy pickleball?? The Tres Palapas Pickleball Resort is less than a 1 block walk from this home. Grab a game, enjoy the cocktail lounge from their gorgeous viewing space or bop over for a cup of amazing coffee in the morning.Plus they have an great restaurant within walking distance from our home.
Or, maybe snorkeling is your thing? You will love the under 1 block walk to the beach for some of the best snorkeling in Baja. It is also a great spot to drop in your kayak for a morning paddle. Or, just grab the beach chairs and towels provided and stroll over with your coffee to view breathtaking sunsrises and sunsets. Some fantastic spear fishing goes on here too :) Whether your sport is kayaking, windsurfing, kitesurfing, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, or fishing - you are less than 5-10 minutes away from all the best sport beaches and open space in Los Barriles. Perhaps hanging by the pool and relaxing is your choice? This home comes with a swimming pool (not heated) that is great to lounge around or take a swim and cool off.

This is a beautiful, well maintained property. We had everything we needed and more. The sunrises could not be beat from the upstairs balcony. The decor was beautiful and relaxing. The linens were nice and the house was extremely clean. There were plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Just a note that the upstairs and downstairs are not connected from the inside which was not a problem at all for us However a family with little ones may find it difficult. We loved the location. We were close to town and just a short walk to the beach. And the pickleball complex was just a quick walk however we could never hear them playing. We also ate breakfast at the courts and one dinner. Both meals were very good. The fish tacos were memorable! We will definitely return on our next visit to Los Barriles.

You can’t beat the location! The hot tub was warm when we arrived and the pool has the perfect amount of shade and sun. We had troubles with the AC in one room, Priscilla and her team came promptly to help us and answer any questions we had. The shaded parking for your ATV is a game changer. No more hot seats for the kids you won’t regret staying here.

This is a really beautiful house and was great for our family and friends, a group of 7. I won't duplicate what other reviewers have said. Would stay again. Some thoughts:
The beach at the end of the street is not really swimmable. There are huge rocks and boulders. You may be able to do a bit of snorkeling but not swim. It's still a gorgeous spot and could take long walks on the beach which was great. Also, a good swimming beach was only a 5-6 minute drive away.
Between May and October is down season so there were not a lot of people around. Lots of restaurants closed or limited hours. The Pickleball resort limits hours to three evenings a week between 5-8pm. It's also incredibly hot in July which was to be expected but the pool was more like a hot tub and not too refreshing. Not a lot of sun shade around the house or pool area. If you've traveled to this area before then you know this but this was my first time so want to help those of you who are new to Barriles.
The house is two separate apartments. They do not connect internally. It wasn't a big deal for us as you could easily walk around to the other apartment but you have to go outside the house to get to the other apartment.
The hosts were incredibly responsive and helped with all kinds of things from recommending a doctor to atv rental to arranging an in home chef (which is highly recommended!). We did have trouble entering the bottom apartment when we arrived.
