About this villa rental

This French villa with swimming pool is the ideal place to relax and enjoy an unforgettable stay in a magnificent setting.

Located on the heights of the village of Bauduen, you can enjoy your terrace, the swimming pool and the view of Lake St Croix.

This charming house is equipped with all modern comforts for 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have a double bed, and one bedroom with two single beds.

There are two bathrooms, an equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer), a spacious living room with fireplace, swimming pool, covered terrace and a large garden (2000 m2) with ample parking for several cars . We also offer all sheets and towels.

The property is located along a dirt road with no traffic. A few minutes by car you will find the lake of Ste Croix, known for its tranquility and its beautiful emerald-colored water, where you can enjoy swimming, diving, surfing, sailing and canoeing. All equipment (kayak, waterpedalo, surfboards, catamarans, ...) can be rented on site in sports clubs.

The village of Bauduen, whose history dates back to the 16th century, will certainly seduce you ...

Hikers, cyclists and mountaineers in the area can visit the Gorges du Verdon.

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Wim’s villa. He’s an extremely responsive host, quickly answering all queries. We love Bauduen - the lake is spectacular and we spent a lot of time in and on the water. And of course canyoning in the gorge - wow! We’re already talking about returning. The only improvement would be to have mosquito screens on the bedroom doors and windows so you could open them for a cooler night. Having said this there are fans in all bedrooms which do help with the heat. Thank you Wim!

This was an amazing property to have had the pleasure of staying in. It is located up in the hills just outside the pretty little town of Bauduen. The property caters well for everyone having everything you could possibly need for your stay. Wim the owner lists his property with great detail and what you see is what you get. The four of us stayed a week in May, weather was amazing for time of year. Perfectly located for visiting the Gorges Du Verdon which is an absolute must, Sillans waterfall, Lac Sainte Croix and hiring boats, Bauden town itself plus a short walk takes you above the property and you get amazing views of the lake, plus much more if you have the time. The property was clean, beds comfortable adequate things to do from table tennis, boules, board games, dvds, lovely swimming pool and a large gas BBQ, what more could you want. Lots of beautiful drive out places all with lovely views. Another plus is you get good sunshine pretty much all day and great sunsets over the lake. If I were to suggest one thing that would be having mesh fitted to windows so they can be open at night and the mosquitos stay out other than we loved it.

This is a fantastic villa, well equipped for a comfortable stay in a stunning location. We really enjoyed the area - swimming and paddle boarding in the lake and cycling. Bauduen is a small village, very pretty with restaurants to enjoy. I really recommend this villa if you like the quiet life - hopefully we will return!

Beautiful villa fully equipped with lovely pool, hammocks & table tennis table. View of bauduen across the lake - where we hired paddle boards/ pedalo with slide etc. The lake is lovely to swim in and you can walk down very steep road to quiet -own little beach. Bauduen has lots of lovely places to eat - but it’s a 5 minute drive away rather than a walk in the heat. Peaceful, stunning and relaxing spot.

We had a fantastic stay at Wim’s villa. The outdoor space is fantastic with hammocks, reclining chairs, full sized table tennis, nice pool etc. the kitchen is well equipped and plenty of table space inside and out. It’s quite a steep drive/walk to the village but once there there are some nice restaurants and nice lake access. Some fantastic runs/walks/cycles around the area.

Villa Bauduen is very well located and equipped - it has everything you need - inside and out - for a great family holiday. The surrounding area is spectacular and the coast is accessible. Wim is a very responsive host and check-in with Laurence was easy and straight forward. I would definitely go back.

This is a really special villa. We had the most fantastic week here, the villa is exceptional and has everything you could possibly need. Bauduen is a lovely village, with great restaurants and lots of activities. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We spent 3 weeks at the villa as a family of 4. The views of the lake from the property are wonderful - there is nothing better on a hot day than bobbing around in the pool looking at the view. The villa is really well equipped and very homely. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Thank you very much for letting us use your lovely holiday home - we hope to come back another year.

During a previous holiday in Bauduen, we discovered this villa, it looked so nice, plenty of flowers, well laid out, high standards… This time we decided to rent it… and what a surprise! The villa completely surpassed our expectations!! It is without doubt the very best equipped villa we’ve ever seen in a holiday rental: exceptionally spacious, comfortable and clean, all furniture and decoration are carefully chosen and from the highest quality… The ultimate bonus is the exceptional view on pool, the village and the lake from anywhere in the living room or the spacious terraces… we’ve enjoyed many evenings doing barbecue on the Weber gas grill… As a conclusion, we highly recommend this pearl of a villa with view on the most beautiful authentic village of the entire area, Bauduen.

Since many years, we do know the region of the Lake of Ste Croix... We've been visiting the entire region: Gorges du Verdon, the Silans les Cascade, Moustier Ste Marie, les Calanques de Cassis, ... it's definately a very beautiful area in the Provence.. This time we stayed in this villa, which you can easily recognize by its garden full of flowers... We were impressed by the high standard with which the house was equiped.. this is really exceptional for a holiday house! We appreciated most the top quality of the beds, but also the comfort to have all linnen available (all kind of towels, sheets etc..), the friendly welcoming of Laurence (even if she's still having a small accent...), the direct communication with the owner and... the orientation of the villa... we could spend hours relaxing besides the swimming pool, enjoying l'apéro in the large lounge seats, or reading a book (even the books are provided!) in on of the hammocks around the house or the hanging chair/sack which our kids appreciated a lot! It's really a nice place to recover and enjoy life!

Well equipped villa in a beautiful setting. Very quiet as down a small lane with no through road. Extensive gardens with pool and garden furniture. Lots of parking. Villa itself is very well equipped with large TV, comfy sofas and a well stocked kitchen. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of beautiful villages within easy driving distance - Moustiers Ste Marie, Cotignac, Tourtour to name a few. Very good market in Cotignac on a Tuesday. Easy access to lake and its amenities. Very good and easy contact with owner. Would recommend for anyone who wishes to stay in this beautiful part of Provence.
