Bear Cub Bungalow is a new and cozy one-level cabin on Hatcher Mountain. It's perfectly located in Wears Valley only 8 miles from the hustle & bustle of Pigeon Forge Parkway and 9 miles to the Peaceful side of the Smokies in Townsend. Gatlinburg is also close.
Designed as a couples cabin, this is the perfect place for your honeymoon or a romantic retreat!
The cabin is perched on the mountainside, providing gorgeous mountain and valley views. Enjoy the views from the new hot tub, by the outdoor firepit, on the porch swing, inside the swinging egg chairs, at the patio table on the back porch, or from the warmth of the cabin. Add coffee, a glass of wine, or a delicious meal, and you'll have the perfect match. If you are lucky enough to visit in the fall or winter you could be in for a show with beautiful trees. The views are spectacular year round.
Inside the cabin, you'll find an ample kitchen with stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, fully stocked dishes and silverware, and coffee supplies. The kitchen also has a keurig coffee maker, rice cooker, blender, mini waffle maker, and toaster.
After a long day in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park or Dollywood, relax in the living room loveseat recliner, use your streaming apps on the smart TV, and enjoy the cozy fireplace. Assorted dvds are provided for the perfect movie night. If games are more your style, the lift top coffee table has a variety of games for two people, including some designed specifically for couples.
When it's time for sleep, climb into the queen bed and enjoy some slumber. The ceiling fan will keep you comfortable while the side lamps and USB charging ports provide the light and electricity that you need.
The bathroom has a tile shower.
Go home with clean clothes by utilizing the washer and dryer.
Bear Cub Bungalow has every decorating detail taken care of. You'll find bears throughout the cabin from the wall decor to the drawer pulls and everywhere in between.

You'll have access to the entire property except a small owner's closet.
I won't be available in person but I am extremely responsive through the platform or by text/phone. I also have a great crew if any issues arise during your stay.

The hot tub has been replaced and is brand new as of February 2023.

Absolutely amazing cabin. Fully equipped with all the essentials. Close to stores, but far enough away that it's peaceful and serene. Love the views from the porch and sitting in the egg chairs, drinking coffee and watching the sun rise over the mountains was the best!

The views from the porch are awesome, Communication with the host was good and they even checked during our stay to make sure everything was ok. The cabin was exactly what we needed for a quick get away. This is a perfect cabin for 2 people.
