Experience the atmosphere of a cozy lodge with every modern amenity - just nine miles from the heart of Yosemite Valley!
This recently renovated home is full of wonderful comforts - an EV charging station, a 50-inch TV, a Ping-Pong table, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. Relax outside on the deck overlooking the woods, where you'll find the grill and an outdoor table where you can dine in the fresh alpine air. This is the perfect place for a large group to relax after a fun-filled day on the valley floor.
This property is located on the western boundary of Yosemite National Park, so you can hike directly into the park from the front door. It's situated one mile south of the Chinquapin intersection of Wawona Road and Glacier Point Road, at an altitude of 5,100-6,300 feet. Tunnel View is a 15-minute drive from the house, and there is a hiking trail 30 feet away from the driveway.
This home can be rented together with Oso Lodge Unit B downstairs, which would add one more bedroom, one more bathroom, and another full kitchen
Things to Know
During the winter months (affected months vary upon on the weather), all patio items are stored away. The grill will also not be available during this time.
The WiFi can be spotty due to the mountain location, and guests may experience occasional outages or slower speeds. Guests should not rely on the internet service for streaming services or working from home.
This home is located inside the Yosemite National Park gates, and staying here provides you with access to Yosemite National Park (no additional reservation needed!). However, guests will still need to pay to enter the gates.
Frequent power outages we do not offer compensation for this, please be prepared
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

So much to love about this cabin! Being located inside the park is a huge perk - it lets you skip the long entrance lines and gives you more time to enjoy Yosemite. The kitchen is impressively well-stocked with cookware and utensils, and the gas stove makes it easy to whip up hearty meals after a day of adventuring. The outdoor patio is a real highlight—perfect for stargazing at night and catching glimpses of wildlife in the morning. The cabin itself is clean, easy to access, and stocked with games, though chances are you’ll be spending most of your time exploring the stunning valley just a short 25-minute drive away. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful adventure in Yosemite and it was a treat having this luxury stay with our own hot showers to come back to after hiking half dome. We used all the vegetable oil, so bring that and some peppercorns. Plenty of games to unwind with. Super lovely space. Oh, for the front door, once you put in the code you have to turn the knob above the keypad to unlock. Then you can get in. You can't go wrong with this relaxing space. Enjoy!

The house is in a wonderful location.. easy to access main attractions of the park. The bedrooms are not as advertised. There are 2 rooms with double beds and one room with a double and a twin with trundle. We were a family of 6 needing 5 separate beds ..that was advertised. The dishwasher was broken and I have never stayed at any vrbo especially one that was 800 plus a night that used such cheap toilet paper, paper towels, dish towels and bathing towels. Ridiculous. Also the coffee pot is a regular pot and you need to bring ground coffee. Lastly power went out at 8:23 am our last day. This was a scheduled outing evidently with no communication re: outage until 11:14am. Just disappointing.
