8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2026
Overall property was as listing described. It is a bilevel home, kitchen and dining downstairs with half bath and laundry while 3 bedrooms, full bath and living room is up. The bedrooms were a little small, but there is closet space. Mattresses were a bit firm and pillows flat, but overall mostly comfortable. The lighting in the dining is dim, one wall sconce and windows are only light except for overflow light from kitchen. Everything you need in the kitchen for cooking and gas grill with utensils outside along with outdoor seating. The space was good for our family coming in for a baseball tournament. It is in a nice neighborhood with sidewalks, convenient to shopping. Owners communicated well, there were just a couple delays via messaging through site, but they leave a phone number of need to reach them immediately. Would boom here again if ever in the area.

The host is kind and responsive. Communication is not a problem. The neighborhood is safe as well. The place is just 7 minutes away from Walmart and other shopping centers. No negative comments for either the hosts or the property, except for the two nights when we noticed that it was so hot because the AC suddenly shut down. Overall, it was a 10/10.

Good space and comfortable beds for a family vacation.

+ owner was very accommodating of unscented laundry detergent to help with allergies. Much appreciated.
+ Nice quiet neighborhood close by to our relatives.
+ Ample towels.
- while the bathrooms and kitchen were VERY clean, the carpet was very stained and so were the windowsills in one room - literally caked with dirt. Will post a pic if allowed.
- not enough pillowcases. Part of our family came a day late due to a funeral so we were fine for one night. They dropped off pillowcases next morning.
- weird communication with the owner. I texted her late in the evening about lack of pillowcases. She was helpful but also kind of defensive. She suggested we sleep on the plastic pillow covers. They're plastic... not sure who would sleep on that. Then she kept texting me when I just needed to go to bed after a long day of travel. The next day she texted at 8 am "are you up" to coordinate delivery of pillowcases. Unprofessional.
- owner told us she owns "dozens" of properties in Aurora. Next time we'll rent from an individual, not a property management company, since we didn't receive professional communication anyway.
- seating areas are cheaply furnished with weird lighting. Not very cozy for hanging out.
