Very nice, brick home, built in 1940 in Latonia/Covington. Lots of natural lighting, fenced in back yard, privacy fence, on a quiet, dead end street, walking distance to several cafe’s, churches, and a 2 min drive from golf course. Fully furnished, laundry facilities , on street parking. Back patio has a table, chairs, umbrella and a gas grill. Heavily wooded area, near a river, some wild life. A 15 min drive to Reds and Bengals stadiums, Hard Rock Casino, Riverdowns, Turfway Park, Riverbend Music Center, Belterra, Newport on the Levee, Mainstrasse Village. The Ark Encounter is about a 40 min drive, and the Creation Museum is a 25 min drive. Kings Island takes 45 minutes.

We had such a lovely stay! The house is older and very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful, even going out of their way when something was left behind. The location worked out perfectly—it was close to everything we wanted to do and made a great halfway meeting spot for our family.One of our favorite parts was saying hello to the sweet dogs and enjoying the birds and other wildlife around the house. It really made the stay feel extra special. We’d happily come back again!

After heading out each day to explore Covington and Cincinnati, we loved having Latonia as our "home base" to come back to. The local shop owners in this developing area could not have been nicer. Staying in a handsomely appointed house with some history is much more appealing than an impersonal hotel chain. Plus, it afforded us the opportunity to bring our fur babies with us! The bare wood stairs did pose a challenge for our senior dog, but everything else worked out fine. We will be back!

I don’t have the words (nor will this site let to write a five page review) about how ABSOLUTELY wonderful this property AND the owners are. We really liked the photos, but they really do no justice to this beautiful home. It was immaculately clean….like hospital clean…like “Ritz” clean!!! I was skeptical about the owners living next door. WRONG!!! Super nice and genuinely helpful. From the BEAUTIFUL remodel of an amazing historical home, to the adorable little backyard yard all nicely fenced in with super cool solar lighting, this is clearly spectacular!!! It’s tightly tucked into an iconic type, old school city neighborhood. But it’s a wonderful neighborhood and very quiet and it’s definitely private. We live in farmland with NO neighbors. We were all completely shocked at how private and quiet it is!!! The attention to details from the beautiful refinished wood work, decorating, lighting, super tall ceilings, pocket doors, fully stocked kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms is outstanding. We only stay in VRBOs. This by far exceeds all. We were in to host our daughter’s baby shower in Southgate. We easily zipped around from her house to Costco to the liquor store (because I forgot to get wine at Costco and they had closed by the time we realized my egregious mistake) This beautiful home was all remodeled by the owners…3 years!!! If you are looking at this property and especially if you are reading this review….do not look any further. BOOK IT. BOOK IT NOW!!!

Came for a concert at Riverbend. Stayed 2 nights. Location was easy and close by. Parking is on street and a little close. Emily has done an awesome job of thoughtfully providing everything and anything you could need for your stay. The kitchen was especially well equipped. Although there is still a little work being done, the home is beautifully restored, comfortable, and furnished with antique flair. All bedrooms are upstairs and also nicely stocked. The only drawback is that the staircase is a bit close and steep (as older houses are) and could use some brighter lighting. We really enjoyed our stay.

Emily does a great job maintaining this charming old school classic Cincinnati brick house and we love staying here when we visit the area. It has everything we and our furry family members need - fenced yard, great access, centrally located. The neighborhood has come cool features as well, just a few minutes from Kroger and we discovered Moonrise Donuts on this trip - yum! The property has the quirks of an older building but has been tastefully updated with great bathrooms and kitchen. Emily is very helpful if there's any needs or issues. We'll be back!

We loved the style of the house and all the daffodils!!!. It smelled so good all through the house. Everything was very clean. The grass could have been mowed, but with weird weather-it’s understandable. We loved the area and found its history interesting.

Real plants! That was the first thing we noticed about this VRBO. We stayed at so many VRBOs through the years, but don't recall ever staying at one with DOZENS of live plants. That tells you something about this place. It's not only beautiful (you should see the view out back), but live plants require a lot of TLC. In other words, Emily and Scott (the owners) must look in on the place often. Someone has to water those plants! And that's the point: Not only is this home clean (the minimum that any VRBO guest should expect), it is loved by its owners down to the last detail. We marveled at the decor (along with the plants)! So, if you're looking for a great place to stay in a great little town, this is it. But you'll get more: You'll get extra after extra after extra. It's obvious that this home is loved. You'll feel it, too, if you stay here.

This house was just perfect of our needs of visiting the Universuty of Cincinnati. Only a 15 drive door to door. The house was exactly as discribed. Emily and Scott were perfect hosts. The communication before and during our stay could not have been better. As an added bonus, our doges loved the back yard. We had the hardest time getting them back into the house as they just wanted to sit outside and watch the squrrrels from the fenced yard.

Our stay was great and Emily went out of her way to give me some resources for my antique home. She was always quick to respond. Emily and Scott are incredible hosts and ensure the this home feels exacly like that, HOME! This hase has been updated perfectly while maintaining its integrity. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is literally minutes from downtown Cincinnati. My wife and I cannot thank Emily and Scott enough for being so inviting to us and our family and our pets. This place checks all the boxes and so do the hosts. We will continue to come back as much as possible. If you are lucky enough to find an opening, I recommend you hop on it. Due to the passing of a family member, we had some scheduling challenges and Emily was Beyond Gracious working with us…We are forever grateful to her for this! Her and Scott’s charming, quiet, historical home was just the quietness and the setting we needed! We absolutely loved the “feels” of the home…all the modern updates, but the warmth of feeling like we were back at my grandparents home when growing up. We loved the fenced in back yard for our Goldendoodle and Emily even offered to let him out one day since our plans would have us gone longer than typical. The home was very clean and had spacious rooms! The A/C was very efficient. We had breakfast at Granny’s Every morning…If you go-You will not be disappointed! We recommend the Sunrise Donut shop a couple doors down also! Since our stay was shortened, we did not get to do all the events we desired…So we will be back and will definitely book with them again! Thank you again Emily and Scott-Both of you and your home were a delight!

The home was perfect for our visit to Cincinnati: great access to downtown Cincy for a Reds game and family events, and a quiet, peaceful place to rest. Quick access to grocery stores and Covington for fun places to eat. The house had plenty of room for everyone and we enjoyed the lovely yard out back for breakfast on the patio. Emily is a super host; attentive and thoughtful. We'll be back!
