Thoughtfully renovated while staying true to its 1970s roots, the home combines vintage charm with modern conveniences.
The Space:
Gather around the sunken conversation pit, relax beside the grotto-style pool and hot tub, or spend your evenings enjoying the peaceful surroundings beneath towering heritage oak trees. Ideal for families, retreats, and groups of friends, the property offers plenty of space to spread out while still enjoying time together.
Inspired by the spirit of 1970s Club Med and South Pacific retreats, the home features warm, inviting spaces designed for relaxation and connection.
Outside, the grounds are surrounded by mature landscaping, flowering trees, open meadows, and historic ranch features. Massive heritage oak trees overlook two historic barns and a nearby horse corral, creating a setting that feels both secluded and timeless.
The pool is solar-heated from April through October, providing comfortable swimming during the warmer months. During cooler weather, an onsite propane heater is available for an additional fee.
Two adjacent homes are also available and may be rented separately or together for larger groups. Please reach out if you'd like details on sleeping arrangements, occupancy, or combining all homes for your stay. OUR HOME IS A PERFECT VENUE FOR A CORPORATE RETREAT OR PRIVATE EVENT. Guests can also explore nearby hiking trails, visit the wineries of Bennett Valley and Sonoma Valley, or enjoy the convenience of being just minutes from Santa Rosa, Glen Ellen, local restaurants, shops, and Whole Foods Market.

Our property is located in the Bennett Valley between Santa Rosa and Glen Ellen. While we are in the country you will only be a few minutes from Whole Foods and many fine restaurants.

Ride share services are available should you prefer not to drive. Plenty of parking on our property.

This property is being offered as a short-term rental for the first time, providing guests with a unique opportunity to experience a private estate that has rarely been available to the public.

Fantastic stay! We had a group of 12 for two nights and the house was perfect. The design is incredibly unique, and we all fit very comfortably. We’d love to stay here again in the future!

We loved staying at Bruce and Marvies beautiful homes. We enjoyed the cleanliness, how communicative and accommodating they were, and the special touches like preparing the extra beds we needed. We enjoyed the hike, saw some wildlife, and loved how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking tools and dishes. The pools, jacuzzis, bbqs were clean and well enjoyed. Plus the views were spectacular! Thank you so much!
