River Front House sleeps 25

This was the most wonderful home I have rented on VRBO. The owner was committed to ensuring we had a swell time and was extremely helpful. Beautiful kitchen and views. Multiple trash cans. I would trust the owner not only with my vacation, but my life.

This was a nice river house. It was clean, well-stocked, and the AC worked great. The real highlight was the location—the view was stunning, and the spot right on the river made for a great stay. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the water.

We have stayed here numerous times and it is amazing. We had at least 10 to 12 kids with us from ages 10 to 1 years old. The yard is the perfect for the kids to play and to play in the river or for the adults to just put your chairs in the river and sit. Even if do not have young kids it’s perfect for adults to play in the river. Highly recommend this house , we will be back next year

There were a lot of things we loved about this house. We traveled with 7 adults and 10 kids ages 8 mths-8 yrs. We loved that the downstairs worked as a game room where the adults could stay up later after the kids were down. We loved that the yard in front of the house was about 50 yards up from the river to allow space for the kids to still play outside. There is also a nice beach cove that allows for chairs/tents and a shallow area for the kids to play. Really family friendly. The pictures are a bit deceiving. The main room no longer has 1 large bed with dressers. It has a queen size bed & a double bunk bed. This worked out better for us. The bottom floor bunk bed is not in a bdrm. It is behind a curtain. The hot water does not work on the upstairs kitchen sink. The exterior stairs are INSANELY slippery when wet. We had 3 pretty big falls from adults that left large black bruises. It was raining, so might be an isolated incident, but it was a big deal for us. Lastly, we were here during the floods and while the river didnt flood the house the rain ran through the bottom floor. The house needs a lot of TLC and probably nothing is to code. The host was very reponsive as we recieved evacution orders and had to leave in an emergency, but never responded to refund requests under VRBOs extenuating circumstances policy. We did really love this house and probably would stay again if we didn't experience a terrible natural disaster, but needs some updates/repairs

We had such a fantastic time! Perfect house for our large family. Far enough away from the road to feel secluded but still surrounded by the life of the river. The yard was perfect for all the children to play in with abundant shade from several large trees. The river front access was the true jewel of this place; we spent all of our time playing in the river and enjoying each other and the beauty all around us. Wonderful wonderful place.

We stayed here for a friends reunion and the house was perfect. Plenty of space and we had the best setup on the river. Wonderful golden hour - beautiful property. Will be back!

If you enjoy sitting in the river and relaxing, then this is the place for you! We’ve stayed a few different places on the river over the years, but this was our favorite.

Views from living areas and back patio are wonderful. Easy, gentle river access. Great for families and or friend groups.
