I was a little disappointed. When we first arrived, the AC was off. It was so hot inside. I really expected someone to have at least turned on the Air. It took about an hour to start feeling a cool down. There were bugs all over the house. We purchased breakfast items to cook. The oven did not work. The stove did and there was a toaster over that we made do with, but that was the only meal we tried to cook because of the oven. The back yard was big, but it needed to be mowed. We waded grass every time we had to take the dogs out. We made the best of the weekend, but for the cost for 3 nights I was very disappointed overall.

Communication with the property manager was great up until my credit card was run. The property was nothing like the pictures, it was very dirty, it had an odor that you could not even stand to be in the room, bugs were everywhere, two of the guests were even bitten, they were exposed nails from a falling down shed in the backyard. I called her and she would not respond to my phone calls. I emailed her and no response I would like a refund immediately. The house was 92 when we got there the ACs were cut completely off. Our check-in was 4 PM, we got there around 5:30. The property was filthy. We did not stay. We left the property and rented a hotel. I would like to be contacted by someone to discuss my refund immediately.

I absolutely love this property. There was plenty of room. It was clean. It was well put together. Everything worked as it should come and had all the amenities for us. Would 110% recommend this place to other others and if we ever do go back to Waco, definitely staying here again.

This is the first time that I cannot say I was truly happy with a property. Yes, it sleeps 15 but what is being called "bedrooms" is not accurate. The laundry room had a daybed tucked in the corner. And the front porch conversion into a sleeping area reminded me of a poor summer camp, it was cold with no adequate heating/cooling.Lighting and wall switches should be labeled. There were used coffee grounds still in the coffee maker and cobwebs in the kitchen cabinets. At least two rooms did not have smoke detectors. The "shared" bathroom did not drain well and in the "master" bathroom one of the light bulbs was constantly blinking or not on at all.The good news.... a huge beautiful backyard and plenty of parking.

Property was a great location close to area attractions. The house had been closed up for awhile and was dusty especially when we opened up trundle beds. The AC wasn't working so after the day warmed up it was very uncomfortable. Overall it served our group and we had a great time in Waco.

It was okay. Could use some new towels. It served the purpose of a gathering spot for family.

The location of the house is close to the Silos. Debbie, the host, was very helpful when we had trouble getting the lock box open. The lock box is very difficult to get open to get the key out to be able to enter the home. Ceiling fan in living room was missing light bulbs and globes. The bathroom floor is sagging by the bathtub. We tripped several times over the rug that was in the kitchen. The ends of the rug were curling up, needs to be taped down to avoid the tripping hazard. There is plenty of off street parking available.

There was plenty of space for all of the guys. It was just as it was described. We would use it again in the future for dove hunts.

When we checked in we all noticed several dead bugs, dirty towels in the both bathrooms, human hair on the beds, and blood stains on one of mattresses. The house has enough rooms to accommodate a large family or group.

Very bad area AC didn’t work. Home Owner gave us the wrong code to get him and failed to respond when we did get in. It was 80° in the house. We did not stay and did not get a refund. Home Owner seem to not. Care

There were dead flies on the window seals dead scorpions under the furniture dead roaches in the kitchen. I say this because they either sprayed chemicals or had a fumigater come in and we weren't told because we had older folks & a new born with us. No basic things like soap in the bathrooms paper towels and the bath towels were just crusty gross

Thank you so much for hosting us at your beautiful property. Everything was perfect. I was really impressed with the quick communication and the cleanliness of your home. You went over and above to make every detail just great, and I appreciate all the hard work and dedication that you clearly put in to make your home welcoming and inviting. We would definitely like to stay with you again if we're back in the area.

Original impression was this was a cute rental because the owner has invested in cute decor, but as we started to unpack it became apparent that this place had not had a good clean in awhile, at first I thought it might have sat empty because their were bugs, debris and cobwebs everywhere. I reached out to the host and she was very responsive and even had the cleaner contact me. I made the mistake of limiting my concerns to 4 areas when speaking with the cleaner and that is all they took care of.
This house had broken glass globes in the ceiling fan, rotting grease/with eggs under the decorative wooden cover on the stove, the only smoke alarm in the house was disconnected and sitting on a side table, and the wood floor planks were separating between the kitchen and living-room. There was also opened a partially used bar of soap in the shower.
The host was really nice, if she committed some resources to really cleaning and fixing the hazards to this home it potentially could be a great rental.

The house is old and almost everything in the kitchen is old or outdated. The owner doesn't fix easy issues with the house.

The place was perfect for our needs.
Little league team of 10 year olds in town for a tournament. Lots of sleeping room and backyard space.

Property manager very nice. Responds quickly. Location was convenient but heavy traffic on road. House is a little quirky but we had a good time.

We stayed in this house this past weekend. Would not recommend. House was not very clean and had safety issues. The fire alarms were not in the ceilings. The grass was knee high and very trashy. The chairs on the patio were torn and unable to sit it. Lots of trash in the backyard. The steps going to the grass weee wobbly and rotten. Many more issues than I can list.

The house was large enough for our group without stepping all over each other. Had fully stocked kitchen- cooking and eating wise. Would definitely recommend
