About this house rental
Talk about unique... a 1 acre pond is feet away and full of fish. A tandem kayak is available however there is no swimming allowed. Plenty of visiting birds, squirrels and other animals may say hello. Cozy house with a full kitchen and peaceful covered front porch to chill on. Gas grill out there as well. Feel like your in the mountains while still a short 10 minute drive from Hickory. Come see the Pond House!

After we called them about clogged drain in bathtub with nasty black hair, we were ok. House was dirtier than I'm used to. Dishwashes left in dishwasher dirty which was rectified. Nice pond and nice quiet home. Just needs updates, new bath and kitchen towels, paper towel holder with starter roll of paper towels, new rugs at front doors and a bath rug and kitchen sink rug would've been nice. Whole place just needs a good cleaning, linens and couches included,
