Are you looking for a very comfortable and spacious place to stay? CHALET LA SOURCE is the ideal place for your mountain getaways, whether in summer or winter.
COMPLETELY RENOVATED with taste and high-quality amenities, Chalet La Source is the perfect place to enjoy the joys of the mountains in any season—with family, friends, or while working remotely.
Located on the western slope of Cauterets, it offers A BREATHTAKING VIEW of the valley while being just a few minutes’ walk from the town center and the gondolas providing access to the ski area.
The chalet is divided into two separate vacation rentals: Chant de la Source (this listing, sleeps 10) and Grand Ours (another listing, sleeps 12).
The CHANT DE LA SOURCE area spans 150 m² on one level and can accommodate 10 people (babies under 18 months not counted). Offering great comfort and ample space, everyone will have their own area thanks to the well-designed layout.
4 LARGE BEDROOMS—3 queen-size beds (160), 2 bunk beds—as well as 2 bathrooms. Two baby kits are also provided (travel crib & high chair).
The main living area offers a spacious and comfortable living room, complete with a wood-pellet stove, a smart TV, and a well-stocked bookshelf with books for all ages. Large floor-to-ceiling windows provide an incredible mountain view and an unforgettable experience.
The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality appliances, all of which were completely replaced in December 2021.
The garden terrace offers breathtaking views of the valley, complete with a plancha grill and outdoor furniture so you can make the most of it.
An added bonus: a ski and bike storage room equipped with a heated cabinet. Skiers in winter and cyclists in summer will appreciate this.
Private parking for 3 cars.
The rental price includes cleaning and linens (bed linens and towels). You’ll find the beds made upon arrival.

This place is so fantastic. It's got huge windows with great views of the mountains. It's cozy yet spacious. Kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. It's quiet and charming. The hosts are super gracious and friendly.
It's only a 10 minute walk to town. The people in town were very nice and patient with my terrible french. Don't forget to take a bag with you to the grocery store to carry all the great French wine and baguettes!
I could have stayed in this house all summer.

Everything in the house was recently renovated. It shows! Such a comfortable place with outstanding views. Communication with Benedicte and Helene was fast.

Amazing chalet, views and location are wonderful. Facilities were impressive, everything was modern, clean and tidy. Communication was Benedicte very fluent, kind and always supportive to whatever need. 100% advisable. Thank you Benedicte for such wonderful holidays!!!
