Molokai Shores unit #217: Upon entry, notice the open layout that leads your gaze to the sliding glass door offering views of the Hawaiian blue sky and palm trees just outside your second-floor retreat. Handsome hardwood-like flooring and a charming island décor compliment the entire unit, and ceiling fans circulate that cool Pacific breeze throughout the unit.
The living room features modern Hawaiian-themed furniture, including a cozy sofa (that doubles as a pull-out bed) and a lounger. On the wall, is a flat-screen television, ideal for a relaxing night with popcorn.
From the living room or the master bedroom, walk through the sliding doors and onto your spacious private balcony. This space is furnished with outdoor chairs and tables so you can enjoy the tropical breeze while getting lost in a good book or enjoying an afternoon nap. There is seating for four guests at the table, two plush outdoor chairs, two beach chairs, and a lounger. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out on this lanai.
For home-cooked meals, the fully-equipped kitchen provides plenty of cabinet and counter space for all prep needs. The large kitchen island gives you even more room to cook and doubles as a bar for casual dining with seating for two. Brand-name appliances include a stove, oven, full-sized refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, and toaster. There is also a coffee maker.
The spirit of the island flows into the tropical-themed bedroom with top-quality linens and pillows to ensure a peaceful sleep. You also have the luxury of another plush chair, a six-drawer dresser, and balcony access. The en suite bathroom includes complimentary spa toiletries and towels and has a shower with a tub. There’s also a mirror with a vanity and plenty of counter space. The second bedroom has tropical linens and pillows. There is space in the closet and dresser to unpack and settle in. The unit was awesome. Its a little hot, but the whole island is hot in the summer. The price is ideal as there is no AC in the room. I would stay here again.

Overall nice place, great balcony, nice view of the ocean and property. Water is very close, beach right there is not fantastic but we caught sandcrabs so had a good time. There were some pretty large ants in one corner but after a few stomps they didnʻt cause much problem. Everything was in working order and comfortable. Location is great, right on the edge of Kaunakakai. Would definitely rent again.

Our time on Molokai was really great! The grounds of the property were kept up. However, we were not placed in the condo we booked (the one advertised on VRBO), receiving 0/5 for accuracy. We also could only contact the manager through the front desk, which was helpful but not always available or timely. The condo we were placed in was "bare bones". We were expecting a few more items to cook within the kitchen, and would have been provided with things like hand soap in all rooms upon arrival vs having to supply it during our short stay. The condo was overall pretty clean but dated.
