Surfside Beach Family Retreat w/ Private Pool & 5BRs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was hesitant to book as I couldn't find any reviews on the property. Typically I wont book without being able to see how others felt about the place. I went ahead to book and the house was exactly as the pics show. The rooms were large and the house was clean....the location was perfect! We had a terminally ill teenager so location was key for us. I do wish they would offer for the pool to be heated in the summer as the pool was really cold and our teen couldn't really get in it much which was disappointing. I was willing to pay whatever so that we could all enjoy it with him but was told it wasn't an option. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: Dolphins Retreat is excellent choice for staying at Surfside Beach the house is equipped with everything a family on vacation would want plus more. They even have an outside accommodations for each person staying there who uses the pool to wash themselves off or if they need to go to bathroom they can do that without coming back into the main house. Each room is different beach scene making our stay very calming. I’m definitely letting friends and family know about this treasure of a beautiful vacation house near the ocean yet each guess felt like their own private space. We will come back soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dolphins retreat was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The only comment I have is concerning the beds. There was to be two king bedrooms two queen bedrooms and a fifth bedroom with bunks. One of the two queen bedrooms only had a full-size bed, which was quite old and uncomfortable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is nice and in a great location. My concern is the cleanliness of it. Downstairs bedroom was dusty, rug didn't look like it had been vacuumed. The living room, under the sofa, was not clean. I also noticed the shower curtain in downstairs bathroom had mold on it. The kitchen is well stocked with nice pots and pans.
