Welcome to Owl Woods Inn, in Bear Creek Lakes! *5 STAR SUPERHOST on other sites
We enjoy sitting on our deck and watching the wildlife, gathering with friends by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, and riding bikes down to the boat dock to see beautiful sunsets.
Take a short walk to the North Beach area and playground, or travel on bike around the lake to the community pool, tennis and basketball courts, boat dock, and additional amenities, all complimentary with your stay!
◈MAIN FLOOR◈
The home is spacious, with a fully stocked, well-equipped kitchen and open concept living/dining areas on the first floor. A cozy gas fireplace rounds out the living space for those cold Pocono nights!
Main level also has a full bathroom with shower and deep soaking tub
Hot Tub is located in an indoor room, with lots of windows, and accessible from both the main floor and deck.
◈UPPER LEVEL BEDROOMS◈
Upstairs you can find two additional bright and spacious bedrooms.
•The kids will absolutely love our newly painted triple twin room, with mountain mural walls, and plenty of toys to keep them entertained!
•Spacious and airy Queen Bedroom features a Tv with Roku, sitting area and desk for remote work.

The finished basement has a den area, laundry room and game room:

◈OUTDOOR AREAS◈
Kitchen leads out to a spacious deck area with dining table, rocking chairs and propane gas grill. Steps down from the deck lead to a private fire pit area with built-in stone fire pit and polywood adirondack chairs.
We have a variety of sports equipment, yard games, and lake inflatables for guest use at the lake. We also have several pairs of snowshoes and poles available in adult and children's sizes.
◈COMMUNITY AMENITIES◈
Please note some community amenities, such as the heated Olympic Pool, are seasonal and only open during the summer months. Please inquire upon your reservation request for hours of operation. All badges for use of amenities are provided and are complimentary!
Fishing is permitted at the lake, with a PA license for ages 16+ (ask host for more details regarding allowed fishing spots)
During the summer season, we have lake floats, beach chairs, yard games, and even a two person kayak available for your use (kayaks upon request and completion of a boat liability waiver). *Please inquire about the availability before you book, thanks!!*
◈AREA ATTRACTIONS◈
There are many attractions and activities surrounding our community! Take a train ride through the Lehigh Gorge, hike to Glen Onoko Falls or Hickory Run State Park, visit the Mauch Chunk Opera House, or enjoy the restaurants and shops downtown Jim Thorpe has to offer. White water rafting and more at Pocono Adventure Center is only a few minutes down the road from our house, and we are within 20 minutes from Jack Frost/BB ski area and Hickory Run State Park.

We enjoyed the location. The pool and lake were close by. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed. The grill did not start but worked with hand lighting. Liz was very prompt in responding to questions. Highly recommend!

The kids room was a big hit with our two and four year old. The beds and pillows were all comfy. The gas fireplace was lovely and heated up the downstairs very well. Overall, it’s was exactly as expected, we had a great time and we’d stay there again.
